Star Struck

I have seen some of his movies and they are a little cheesy. I would rather see sappy sentiment than the perversion movies and TV says is entertainment. I saw this movie is worth a see. I found it on my free movies I have through my on demand service with the cable service. I will always be a kirk Cameron fan especially now because he is a strong Christian witness in a dark industry. I will watch any thing he or his wife is in. They are using their celebrity to bring others to Christ. Do not miss 2008 movie Fireproof. I have always been a Kirk Cameron fan and I hope the Lord will bless him to keep making positive family oriented films that bring glory to God.

This romantic comedy has a simple, predictable story and a general innocuous presentation. While it is not an awful flick, don't expect it to rank alongside box office hits. The main problem lies with a bad script consisting of numerous hackneyed lines. Another big detraction is the mis-casting of the main character ('Runner') played by Kirk Cameron. This young man simply is too unlikely to be a match for 'Robyn', played by Chelsea Noble. Cameron is likeable and performs well, but his boyishness looks foolish next to Nobles mature sexuality.

But hey, wait! This is merely a made-for-TV movie that never pretends to be anything other than a light diversion for those who are young and undiscerning. So in this sense it is fine. So grab the Coke and popcorn and if the phone rings go ahead and answer it because you won't miss much unless you love simple fantasies or the eye candy provided by Noble.

This is a unique script, with a slow start, a need for some more editing, but absolutely deserves 10 out of 10 stars when it comes to creativity, feel good, character development, a wholesome family film(just explain smoking is bad), it's fun and funny. With a little bit more editing, this movie would be 10 out of 10 in every romantic comedy lover's book. What truly makes this movie better is that the main characters married in real life, 1991. I get it, I almost turned it off probably the first 15 to 20 minutes(just cut the whole first movie theater scene, and have the character show up as the assistant). You have to stick with it. Definitely watching this one again and again.

This is the best film I have seen in a long time, thus so I raced online the second the credits finished and looked up for ANY sites, but found non - except this one... GO AND SEE IT!!!!

Granted that I'm sick and a little strung out on cough syrup, but I really, really liked this movie! It's super cute and just plain fun to watch. A popcorn movie; buttery and warm, but without a lot of sustenance. At one point I even exclaimed out loud "What a ridiculous premise for a movie...I love it!" Kirk Cameron and Chelsea Noble (his real-life wife) are adorable together, they have incredible chemistry and you can just tell that they enjoy being with each other.

If you're expecting an Oscar-Award-Winning movie, then yes, you will be disappointed. But if you're looking for a short, sweet movie to watch while you're lying on the couch, then this is the movie for you.
