Verne "Mini-me" Troyer's film debut. He played Pinocchio in this movie, with Dick Beals dubbing over him.

Was written and filmed under the title "The Pinocchio Syndrome", but for unknown reasons, Trimark re-titled it "Pinocchio's Revenge" when the film was completed. It was the director's intention to name it "The Pinocchio Syndrome". Despite that, some international territories still released the film under its original intended title.

This is the second time that Aaron Lustig has played a psychologist after Edward Scissorhands (1990).

Larry Cedar appeared in Demonic Toys. Danielle Keaton would go on to appear in Puppet Master vs. Demonic Toys. Additionally, Aaron Lustig appeared in Bad Channels, which ties in with Dollman vs. Demonic Toys.
