Best film of Mithun's where Rambo Rajkumar is not credited as the action director.Belongs up there with the classics like Jodidar and Yamraaj...best film of Ajay's I've yet seen...Mineshaft sequence superior to Spielberg's sequence in Temple of Doom...also best use of a windmill since Man of La Mancha
T. Rama Rao directed really good films in his prime, including 'Ravan Raaj: A True Story', which was a blockbuster. Then came 'Jung' an action film, again a successful film.
Rama Rao was known for making films that always pleased the hoi polloi, and 'Jung' is no exception. I've seen this film long ago, way back in early 2000's. I enjoyed the film, and it was indeed a pleasure seeing a legend like Mithunda & a Superstar like Ajay Devgan teaming up. Both delivered controlled & likable performances.
on the whole 'Jung' is no Masterpiece, but sure is a good one-time watch. I liked it, and I would recommend this film to those who enjoyed 90's cinema throughly.
