Dream Master: The Erotic Invader

No pun intended - don't sweat over the desk ... wait, actually do sweat over it! Another pun you say? Well I guess so - but the movie has a lot to give (and show), so there is that. This is a somewhat guilty pleasure of mine (come on, how else would I describe it? Exactly) ... and it solidified .. my love for Lisa Boyle (who was called Cassandra something for the movie too).

The movie is on the erotic side - there is quite a lot of nudity and steamy situations. But what elevates this from other movies, that sort of only show skin (not hating on other stuff, just pointing out the differences) ... is that this actually has a story. Now it may not be the best and greatest and all that .. but it is quite intriguing in more than one sense (which also goes for what is being stimulated).

It could have done with a bit of better writing I guess (better acting) and better set design - but that goes down to ... no not that going down! There is enough of that here though - no that is something that can be attributed to the low budget this had. There is only so much you can make. I reckon the video quality is not the best either - this was not meant to be shown on a big screen however ... anyway, if you like a sensual movie to tickle more than just ... well you know what, this is able to satisfy all your needs ... and I am still not entirely sure about the ending ... and I won't check if it means something different than I think it does ... maybe you think it is clear cut ... I'd like to believe there is two ways to see it ... at least! And again no pun intended for review 11066 (it's in the number for me)

It's no Academy Award winner, but then no one watches the Academy Awards hoping to see Lisa Boyle tied to a bed in a girl-girl scene. Terrible dialogue and great scenery make this movie a decent rental for any Lisa Boyle fan.

This otherwise awful movie has four redeeming features, the four lengthy and realistically presented love scenes involving extremely lovely actresses. As soft-core porn goes, this is probably as Hot as it can get. The rating of 7 applies only to the movie's position within the category of late night Blue movies.

Nothing else about the plot or its presentation is the least bit entertaining, which is too bad, since the original concept of entering and influencing the dreams of others is pretty cool--(See Dreamscape with Dennis Quaid) I would say that the problems stem from the budget, after shooting all the simulated intercourse, there must have been insufficient money to do more than one take of all the bad dialog.

Imagine a B-film with cheap dated special effects which story mixes sexploitation, sci-fi (psychiatric revolutionary experiments) and fantasy (besides never explained divination abilities, there is a trip to the real of dream, where evil Devora reigns). It may be awful, don't you think? Well, I may admit that I surprisingly enjoyed it. It is B, it is exploitation, there is no great acting or amazing script, but I liked it. The story is interesting enough for a so unpretentious film, and eroticism (very softcore) is good. I did like Devora, a quite sexy character (kind of succubus dominatrix played by Patricia Skeriotis), that should have had more screen time.

Patricia Skeriotis is the only reason I watched this film she was brilliant as Devora. I am now a fan and wondered if she has got a fan club? The film is about a college lecturer who experiments with his students while they are asleep and the dreams that are induce and the lovely Miss Skeriotis enters their dreams
