i loved the show also my son would take a nap between the the 2 hrs. I also enjoyed twin brothers who where the handymen i learned so much from them. I loved Michael so much better than Chuck he was hilarious. They never held back anything. I miss shows like this, if it was on now we could have live chat rooms and send them questions to answer on air. I would love to know what everyone is doing now. They should do some kind of reunion show just to catch up with everyone and see what has happened in their lives in the past ten years. Kim does the Ellen Degeneres show a lot. I also would love to see everyones kids i am sure a lot of them are married and have kids of there own.

I too loved watching this show on a daily basis & watched it from the beginning under the direction of Woody Frazer when Christina & Chuck were hosting & although it was entertaining it really hit it's stride when Micheal Burger came on board to replace Chuck. Every day was something different but you could count on it being clean & wholesome viewing & I loved that about the show. They showed that you could have a very entertaining show for 2 hours each day & the day that they announced that because ABC had purchased what was then just the FAMILY CHANNEL & they would no longer be on was a very sad day for me & my wife. Hopefully one day some cable station will once again air a show like this because we need more clean & wholesome family shows. Also just to mention what was already said let's not forget the charming young cook Jamie as she was a huge part of the show also & she can be seen on one of the shopping channels cooking & selling her cookbooks. I miss you Home & Family! can't believe that 10 yrs have passed since you graced our air.
What a great show this was. I NEVER missed an episode. If I wasn't home, I would tape it. They were like a family to me. I felt as if I knew them. I would love to see a similar show with the same cast. I had an apartment and no children when the show was on the air. Now I have my own home and family and I could use a refresher of all the tips they would share on the show. MY FAVORITE SHOW OF ALL TIME!!!!
I loved this show when Chuck Woolery was on he is just so cool and he got to show just how cool he could be working next to Christina. Chirtina was so hyper and he was most of the time laid back that I think it did work well to have opposite's at time's . but I like many other people I know stopped watching it once Chuck had his open heart surgery. Michael burger should have kept to game show's and I do hope Chirstina has found away to relax a little. I must say I also liked Candice Garvey and Steve occasionally. What can I say it was great fun and if Chuck had stayed we might still be seeing it today. The type of show might still do well it was a step ahead of reality TV as far as being live and Chuck being as real at time's as any one could be and some of the maul function's of the home and family sound's like a good idea hey!
This show ran 2 hours every weekday afternoon. I agree with the previous poster. It was a wonderful show and was a huge loss when it was canceled. I think it ran 2 1/2 years, ending in Aug of 1998. I felt I had another family in this show and became deeply involved with everyone. I cried when they left the air. I too loved Mike Burger even more than Chuck Woolery. I laughed myself silly every day! Remember the "peanut butter kiss" he gave Cristina? What a hoot! You just never knew what he would do next! By the way, Kim was Kim Douglas. She is married to an actor on Young and the Restless. Home and Family was one of the best shows to ever play day time TV. The network really messed up in canceling this one.Wish we could see a "best of" on DVD set!
