Nothing wrong with this programme. I have a full set of tapes from it (although I will have to look for them). I enjoyed this as it was from a different section of the police that you rarely see on television although most comments I have heard did describe it as awful including comments from Police Officers. I think that it should have went to another series. The characters were comical including Ron Donachie (Freddy Calder) and that wee puppet of his. Think what he has done since that programme. Maybe programmers at BBC should reinstate it but with different characters. Thre is enough drama at the moment on TV regarding Police series.
This dirge only lasted one series and it's blatantly obvious why.
With production values to rival Triangle and acting on a par with Grange Hill (that's post Tucker and Benny) PLUS that nauseating electronic twiddly music score that sounds like Bruno from Fame with indigestion this is scraping BENEATH the barrel.
And what was supposed to be so endearing about that fat special with the finger puppets?
Dross.
