Too Much Sun

Honestly I could see how it could be offensive but it's really funny and so bad it was good, like it was such an unserious movie that i don't know why everyone is so pressed I found it hilarious and it was a stupid plot but that was kinda the point you know like you should not take this movie seriously. Yeah it's a little suggestive at times and stereotypical but it's so stupid and fun that it really didn't bother me too much I honestly really liked it and it was a comedy for when your bored or something. Ralph macchio did an amazing job and the the fact he was in the chair for half the movie was the best part.

I was saddened to see that the modern "Entertainment industry" of this country could still put out awful, stereotyped images lacking even one dimensional sensibilities. What next, "Mammy with a banjo" on her knee?! For shame on anyone who voluntarily had anything to do with this movie.

The storyline is so preposterous, insulting and childish... Gentle reader, consider yourself warned.

Granted, the premise was stupid, this movie has me ROTFLOL!!! I soon forgot the name of it, but never gave up trying to find it. I saw it by "accident" at a sneak preview and didn't realize it was going to be something that I would want to have in my library.

Eric idle. Robert downey junior. Ralph macchio. Andrea martin. When old man rivers dies, his will directs that one of his homosexual children must provide a grandchild within one year of his death, in order to inherit his estate. A comedic, gay, bedroom farce, if you will, since both sonny and bitsy are already in relationships. The gay relationshis are treated with an unusual amount of respect, for the times. The usual gay references and jokes, as expected. And why not? Macchio had already made his karate kid money, parts one, two, and three. Downey junior had already hit it big on his own, with back to school and less than zero. Directed by robert downey senior. Laura ernst, who plays susan, was married to downey senior for three years, until she died of ALS. And the title.... too much sun.. is a pun on the word "son".... as there are too many sons in the film. And a fun connection-- the mailman is played by chris mankiewicz, related to all the famous mankiewicz-hollywood-writers! It's funny and silly. Much better than the low ratings on imdb, as of today.

I would like to express my gratitude towards the makers of and actors in the Greatest Movie of all times: Too Much Sun!!! This Movie has probably saved my life, and it will probably do many more times!!! I love it! Love it!!
