When I watched this movie as a kid honestly I loved and I've no second thought that I loved Govinda's comic timing with a flavors of legends like Kadar Khan Sir and Shakti Kapoor... Btw Varun's Coolie remake has been made just for us to realize how good the original movie was...

'Coolie No. 1' deserves a watch for the sheer magic of Govinda & Kader Khan. The Supremely Talented Actors, pitch in incredible performances, that stand out.

'Coolie No. 1' directed by David Dhawan, was a Box-Office Smash Hit back in 1995. It's an entertaining film, that is worth your time. A Story about complications within a few people, unfolds on screen, with some really entertaining moments.

The Writing Material is up-to the mark, while the Dialogue are excellent. Dhawan's Direction is nice. Cinematography & Editing are decent. Music by Anand-Milind & Shyam-Surender, is foot-tapping. Performance-Wise: Govinda & Kader Khan, as told, deliver incredible performances. And even their on-screen chemistry, is top-notch. Sadashiv Amrapurkar & Shakti Kapoor are funny, as well. Karisma Kapoor is passable. Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Harish, Kanchan & Mahesh Anand lend good support.

On the whole, A Must See for Govinda & Kader Khan devotees!

A rollercoaster of a ride a typical 90s comedy with dram comedy amd emotion acton packed masala movie a good entertainer.

Govinda is an excellent comedian and no-one can be better than him. He did really well in this film and Raja Babu as well, I'm surprised that he can do comedy. I was thinking that why he didn't do comedy film in 1980's until 1990's but thanks to David Dhawan who directed both of films. David makes us laugh and enjoy to watch them.

It was a huge hit at that time, they're classic and much more funny than nowaday.

Before the film released, I remember I viewed a very short song trailer on VHS, 'Main To Raste Se Jaa Raha Tha'. It was very rare trailer and difficult to find which VHS that it contains. Someone who is out there might still got them.

Coolie no.1 has maintained a good reputation for its comedy till today.Govinda's talents has been completely Utilised by David Dhawan from beginning till end of the movie. A memorable movie of Govinda for his best performance.The movie also has a good story. Govinda was best as Coolie comparing to his other roles.This movie has been an important movie which laid path for his successful career.Govinda cracks best jokes along with the funny Kader Khan .His scenes with Shakti Kapoor are the best funniest scenes in the movie.Of course there was a beautiful chemistry between Govinda and Karisma in this movie.The funniest Dialogues delivered by Govinda in this movie are remembered from kids till old one.Absolutely One of Govinda's best film.

From start to finish you get laugh after laugh. My fav dialogue is "kuta salaa.. marjayega accident me". No one is as convincing as The Great Govinda in comedic dialogue delivery.

Coolie No. 1 is one of the funniest film of the decade. Govinda became possibly known for being a comedy King after this Movie. His earlier work Raja Babu was another Entertainer. Shakti Kapoor won the best comedian for this movie and truly deserved it. The movie has action, romance, family drama and lots of comedy. The weakness in this movie has to be Karishma Kapoor. Karishma Kapoor is one of Bollywood worst actresses. Most of her films are either Flops or Hits because of the actor. Every Karishma Movie I've seen had a deja vu of her always acting childishly immature. Perhaps the director know's this before casting or she just suits the dim witted character like her sister Kareena. Anyway the movie still is a Pure Entertainer. Thanks to Kader Khan, Shakti Kapoor the famous comedy duo. Above all Govinda.

This is just a wowmazing film ... It cannot be replaced or rebuild or be remade by any of the stars except for Govinda himself 😍😍😍😍😍😍 I bet all must be watching the original coolie no 1 after the remake version as it might have blasted your head off😭😭😭

Cannot Beat govinda, kadar Khan & Nandu Sabka Bandu

There is no such actor in Bollywood till date, whose screen presence has been powerful like Govinda, Govinda dances, sings and keeps the audience engaged while speaking dialogues on the screen, Bollywood should do new experiments with him, Govinda's films The fans are still the same, just need new content and better marketing, if good script and marketing is used then Govinda can prove to be very beneficial for Bollywood, the trend of family films is equally relevant today, There is a need to make family films in the right way, in the process of copying Hollywood type films, Bollywood has forgotten its real stars, there is a need to try in a new way.

After seeing the new Coolie No.1, people will start realizing how good Govinda was in 90s and early 2000s. His movies never fails to make me laugh. He's one of the gifted actor with good comic timing and his dances moves were so cool. I hope we get to see Govinda in comedy movies more often. Industry needs him as we are seeing so many failed comedy movie attempts

Whenever I feel depression, I watched that movie, I don't know that how many times I watched may be mire than 200 times, this is the original piece, it can't be copy. I start loving this movie more after watching it's remake, and I realized that no one can replace Sir Govinda, Varun is a very good actor but with his own acting.

Legendary actors came together to make this a wonderful watch. Outstanding situational comedy , hilarious dialogues written by non other than Kadar Khan himself and superb songs.

Highlight of the movie was the chemistry between Govinda and Kadar Khan. Shakti kapoor in his one of the best roles nailed it as mamaji. Legendary Sadashiv Amrapurkar also stepped in with a tremendous performance. All in all a complete family entertainer and treat for the eyes.

This is one of the movie where Govinda is at his best. Must watch

Watched this movie in 2020 after remake released, and realized how great acting and comic timing , dialogue delivery impacts the movie.. none of the flashy sets, visuals work if acting is bad
