Class of Nuke 'Em High Part II: Subhumanoid Meltdown

This is one of the funniest movies I have ever seen. It is incredibly stupid, incredibly bad acted, and includes incredibly bad special effects. So, what's not to like? I mean, this movie also includes an award winning number of melon heavy breasts...although many of these chicks are bald...but hey, they got large knockers! Yes, this is Class of Nuke Em High 2: Subhumanoid Meltdown. It has near no relation to the original Class of Nuke Em High, but that is okay. This film is about the T.I.T: Tromaville Institute of Technology and all the wacky things that happen on campus including a giant mutated squirrel who likes large nuts, peeing on nuclear power plants, and sneezing on innocent civilians. At the same time, subhumanoids have lived on campus, they are like humans only they have a mouth instead of a belly button, so they are better at making love. Sound simple enough because we also got a dolphin-sophomore who is belemic and a professor with a 9 foot hairdo. Dear, I have said too much. Just make sure to hear the rocking theme song, which is one of the film's best qualities. Just check this movie out nuff said. It is dumb, tasteless, and incredibly bad, but also it is hilarious! A couple of years after the original movie, Tromaville has gotten a new university merged with the nuclear power plant called "The Tromaville Institute of Technology ( a.k.a. TIT)" and it seems like a perfect place to have campus life with booze, hot chicks who wear bikinis, and being yourself. However a scientist named Professor Holt ( Lisa Gaye) has been creating humanoid beings out of chemicals called Sub-Humanoids who are perfect for slavery, pleasure and to serve people but however they are different than the average normal human being as they have second mouths for bellybuttons and they would sometimes go into meltdown into slimy gooey little creatures if they hurt people. Ace reporter Roger Smith ( Brick Bronsky) is on the verge to find out about the secret of who is behind these sub-humanoids even if he falls for one.

Weak but fun sequel to the 1986 cult trash classic from Troma with the usual knockers, self referential material, nudity, and gross out humor with it. I did however thought that girl Roger falls for is a total hottie even though her character had a mouth on her stomach, if your in the mood for goofy no-brain fun then watch this if you liked the original.

The Troma school from the first nuclear disaster has been cleaned up and now it has been turned into a college. Wannabe reporter Roger Smith (Brick Bronsky) covers the story of what happens to the school that turned it back into a nuclear disaster as well as a giant mutant squirrel that breaks loose.

I honestly wasn't the biggest fan of the original movie but there's no question that it's a lot better than this sequel. I'm sure Troma die-hards are going to love whatever they put out but to me this sequel is just a complete waste of time. You'll notice during the opening credits that there were six people credited with the screenplay but perhaps a seventh pair of hands would have helped things.

The first film, like Troma's THE TOXIC AVENGER, was just an offensive, gory and over-the-top film that mixed horror and comedy. Say what you want about Troma's style but these early politically incorrect films were a lot of fun. It seems that the sequels to THE TOXIC AVENGER and CLASS OF NUKE 'EM HIGH were greeted with a lot of hate because they weren't as outrageous. In the years since there release it seems to be that Troma had to deliver a more "R-rated" film and that's what happened.

With that being said, there are all sorts of problems here including the film just being a complete mess and it really does seem like they had no idea what they wanted to do with the picture so they basically took the first film and re-made it but without the laughs and humor. The film features all the bad acting and bad special effects that you'd expect from Troma but it's just not funny or entertaining this time out.

What was really awful was the non-stop narration, which was just annoying after a while. It also didn't help that the characters were all forgettable and that includes the giant squirrel.

This sequel to the 1986 cult classic "Class of Nuke 'Em High" is a rather disappointing film. The action takes place at the Tromaville Institute of Technology or T. I. T. For short. College newspaper reporter Roger Smith (Brick Bronsky) strikes out with all the ladies. He volunteers for a sexual experiment to score and a get a nice $8.00. Roger falls in love with Victoria, a subhuman being that is part of the experiment. The subhumans have lips in their navel. When Roger discovers this he is put off, but his love for Victoria reigns supreme.

There is a problem with the subhumans eventually melting down. Roger must find a way to save his love before she turns into a big pile of goo.

There are some cool things about this sequel like Tromie the giant mutant squirrel, but Class of Nuke 'Em High II is just an attempt to cash in on the popularity of the original film. Although Troma has produced some real duds, they've also made some the best B horror movies too. For hardcore fans only! If you want to watch some good sequels to Class of Nuke 'Em High skip straight to Return to Nuke 'Em High Volumes 1 and 2.

Brick Bronsky stars as an intellectual muscle man who ends up protecting the girl of his dreams (Translated the only girl who will sleep with him) from corporation lackeys as well as a group of fat bikers who dominate the college. Oh and there are subhumanoids who are created and melt down with little of explanation, although the professor(Lisa Gaye) who sports a Marge Simpson haircut has a cure and being that Bronsky's girlfriend is a subhumanoid, he wants the cure. Of course education takes a backseat to non-stop bizarre set-pieces. Because last month was Halloween I did a non-stop binge on horror movies (AKA movies found in my horror section)and I saw this with the first. The first movie was made with gross out humor but also with restraint that things never got too out of control. Not so here, as Class Of Nukem High II is so bizarre and surreal that it's a non-stop assault on not only your senses but also your common sense and your physical being in general. You will not find a more weird film and yet I admit some of this went a long way, just not enough to be worth putting money down on. Reviewing this movie is hard because it's meant to be bizarre and there is tons of imagination and moments where the humor works but it's just so weird. And my taste in movies is hardly mainstream.
