A sequel was planned but never materialized.

Jeffrey Combs (Doctor Mordrid) and Brian Thompson (Kabal) are well-known in the Star Trek universe, guest-starring in multiple episodes of multiple series. Both guest-starred together in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (1993) Season 4's To the Death (1996) as Weyoun and Toman'torax, respectively. Later, both guest-starred together in three Season 4 episodes of Enterprise (2001) as Commander Shran and Admiral Valdore, respectively.
