Although Bloodmoon was used as the show's production title, it never received an official title, and after it was canned, HBO reportedly did not even permit Grrm to see the finished pilot.

The Jon Snow spinoff, which would serve as a Game of Thrones sequel, has received a somewhat disappointing update from HBO, but that itself is a good sign for how the network is handling both that show and the franchise in general. Given the success of both Game of Thrones and now House of the Dragon, there are unsurprisingly multiple more Westeros-set spinoffs in the works, but few are confirmed to actually be happening. Outside of House of the Dragon season 2, the only other series ordered by HBO so far is A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: The Hedge Knight, but it's expected others will follow.

One of those may be the Jon Snow sequel show. The show, which was first reported in 2022, is one of the most surprising spinoff ideas given how directly it would follow on from Game of Thrones' ending, which didn't exactly set up more of Jon Snow's story.

Hope everyone has their wallets ready because September 1st is a doozy of a day for home entertainment releases, with over 20 horror and sci-fi titles set to make their debut on Tuesday. For those of you Mad Max: Fury Road fans out there, this is the week you’ve all been waiting for as George Miller’s epic actioner arrives on 3D and 2D Blu-ray as well as on DVD. Scream Factory has a few films they’re releasing this week—Backcountry, The Harvest and Army of Frankensteins—and Anchor Bay Entertainment is keeping busy with a pair of notable releases too—The Curse of Downers Grove (which was penned by Bret Easton Ellis) and Lost After Dark.

This year’s Film4 FrightFest guest list brings together the great, the grand and the gifted as over 100 filmmakers, performers, writers and producers from all over the world make their way to the Vue West End for the 15th Film4 FrightFest event which runs from Thursday 21st – Monday 25th August. A 30th anniversary screening of the film is taking place at this year’s Film4 FrightFest, and Englund has been announced as a member of a guest lineup that includes Alan Moore.

Taking place at London’s Vue West End, the 15th Film4 FrightFest will run from August 21st – 25th. In addition to celebrating the 30th anniversary of A Nightmare on Elm Street, Robert Englund will also be unveiling his latest film, The Last Showing.

Actress Maika Monroe will be on hand for the UK premiere of The Guest, and director John McNaughton (Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer) will screen his latest film, The Harvest. Also of note...

Sara doesn't find any leakage in the boxes and Nick believes the rest of the parts must be in the boxes. They were dropped off by a truck on a pick-up route. Nick wonders how much the killer thought the Db was worth, "times are tough." That was the supposedly funny line. Nick takes Gloria (Tracee Ellis Ross) to see Ray who's conducting an experiment with Hodges (Wallace Langham). Nick comments he looks more like "Dr Dre than Dr Ray.
