I'm just wondering how much of Anna Nicole's inheritance is going to Mark Steines. There is nothing objective about his reporting. Entertainment Tonight has been hurting for content lately, but I did not expect them to stoop to the levels they have of late. The interviews with Anna Nicole just prior to her passing were in poor taste, but the latest interview with Howard K. Stern is a new low. If I didn't know better I'd think Mark Steines was in the employ of Mr. Stern. As for the content on the show of late, more time is spent on discussing what is coming up next, what is coming up tomorrow, and what is coming up next week, than on the entertainment "news." I hate to see this happen to the show. I used to be a fan. Now I fast forward mostly.
I remember watching this when it first aired and for quite a few years afterwards. It was the only show that covered entertainment news in depth with interviews with actors, and on set and behind the scenes footage.
Then there was this stretch where it had Marie Osmond on. All. The. Time. When there was no news about her. She was just kind of there because. That's it! Because. I'm like, why aren't they showing some news on other actors, shows, movies, even soap actors. But no, they had her on all the time for no reason. I think this may be when I stopped watching. I can't quite remember. But I got tired of this.
The other thing was that they covered Anna Nicole Smith before and after death way too much. It was actually kind of exploitive. I felt like someone there had a "thing" for her or something, and kept covering because of that. I mean, not to speak ill of the dead, but the woman didn't do very many film or tv projects. Why exactly all this coverage? I think this coverage probably was very unhealthy in her situation.
Different hosts seem more into shmoozing with the stars than actually asking good questions. Many times the questions are silly. It is a fluff show. They only seem to cover so-called flavor-of-the-day stars/shows/movies. Whereas I was interested in seeing other stars and shows being covered as well.
Thank gawd, for the internet and all the different choices for online entertainment magazines with interviews and in-depth coverage of shows and movies. And, they do cover the stars and shows I'm interested in. It's great because I can just pick and choose what I am interested in.
We don't need this show anymore. Started out good, but lost itself somewhere along the way. 3/10.

Don Knotts, Darrin McGavinn & Dennis Weaver died this weekend. RIP. ET only talked about how Don was anorexic! ET and the Insider are the two biggest pieces of crap on the air. I used to never miss it. Now its all self-promotion and medical tabloid garbage! I remember in the old days when someone of Don Knotts stature, Dennis Weaver or Mr. McGavinn passed the entire show would be a tribute to them, I would tape them --now Dancing With The Stars 10 min. 700 LB MAN OR 40 LB FASHON STICK 12 min. --- Mr. Knotts with a 50 year entertainment history- 2min !!!! Maltin gives 1 min. on Weaver and 30 seconds about McGavvin and A Christmas Story! SHAME!
Nichelle is phony and ruins the quality of this show. She laughs or pretends to be on the verge of laughing for no reason. You must get a genuine cohost
for Kevin who does a stellar job.
Incredibly superficial, out of touch, foolish, self-absorbed hollywood. This show makes my skin crawl. I guess it is still on tv because it is cheap to produce and fulfills alot of hollywood egos.
