Comments on movie "Why Me"
I saw this movie way back when it was first released on TV in 1984, and I have wanted a copy of it ever since we got our first VCR. This movie really stayed with me, and I enjoyed it SO much. The story line was excellent, and I was moved by the trauma, the kindness of this doctor, and the way things unfolded.
In the movie, this woman who is horribly disfigured experiences rejection, heart break and physical torture as well as mental. She is no longer beautiful, and her companion has left her. She is at the end of her rope when a professional and very handsome doctor takes an interest in her. You can almost feel her pain.
I highly recommend it and must have a copy!
