Antonio Banderas is replaced by a double during the scenes of the recreation of the accident, probably because he would be filming another project.

The film is based on the real story of "El Caso Almería". Quoting the introduction in the beginning of the film "To protect the film and its commercial exhibition, the names, circumstances, thoughts and peculiarities of most of the characters have been distorted and it could only be attributed to chance that, in this meaning, there would be a coincidence between the fruit of the imagination of the authors and the reality." In homage to the three main victims, only their last names were changed, keeping their real names in the movie: Juan, Luis and Luis.

Muntsa Alcañiz, Juan Echanove, and Diana Peñalver had an "introducing" credit in the opening.

Luis Marín, Antonio Medina, Fernando Chinarro, Ramón Langa, and Francisco Sanz were also dubbing actors.
