Sweet Savage

This is a pretty bad porn flick with former Hollywood Star Aldo Ray and Carol Connors who was on the original Gong Show. Considering this was made in 1979, at the height of porn going mainstream for a while, the movie is awful.

Slow moving and dull directing ruin it.

Forty years later the generation who didnt groom below is not too attractive to peer at either. Carol Connors and Also Ray are barely in it. I think Carol retired after this fiasco and Ray died.

I rented this low-budget sex-western to see one of my favorite actors, Aldo Ray, playing the villain in one of his last movie appearances. But Ray is featured on-screen only minimally; the other "performers" are made up of unattractive amateurs undressing rather self-consciously for the camera (I read that one of the females here was also in "Deep Throat", which doesn't bode well for that flick). The outdoor locales are OK, and the attempt is made to include some sort of plot, but it isn't one that will involve anybody. Ray doesn't strip, but he gets to ogle, and he does that rather well. In his later years, Aldo looks a little paunchy, but he's very energetic and apparently unashamed (he won an Adult Film Award as Best Actor, after all). Unfortunately, the filmmakers don't have any respect for an actor of Ray's caliber and he's given a sour send-off. That's more pathetic than erotic...Good porno shouldn't make you feel dirty.

In the old West, A female Indian, Shy Dove (Beth Anna, A stunner that I've not seen before in porn) goes to town and falls in love, only to later be raped by the local town folk. Her brother Black Fox (Tyler Reynolds from "Ultra Flesh") takes revenge by kidnapping and rapeing a white girl. I guess they call that tit for tw@t. Best Western Porno ever? Nope, for that watch 1975's Barbara Boubon led "A Dirty Western" . The film is a tad long in the tooth and The kaleidescope sex scene, while trying to be different, was just distracting. Carol Conners sandwiched a small part in this film between her Candy movies. The late Aldo Ray also has a bit part in the film.

"Sweet Savage" has all the ingredients of a western : indians, cow-boys, diligences, fights with bandits ... but it's also a good porno. A lot of different and original positions, with various persons involved : man/woman, woman/woman, men/woman ... The 'not below 18' is justified ( many close up ). There is even a screenplay! An indian woman was rapped by cowboys, so indians kidnapped a white girl ( and rape her ). In the meantime, the indian woman fell in love with another cow-boy. Every scene has its 'quota of sex' ( don't worry there is also a happy ending ).

I was expecting something poor, but I was really surprised, mostly because it was released in 1979. It must have been a real 'hard porno', back in the end '70s. This Western/Porno is one of the best of the genre, even if it's the only one - I mean it's a good movie.The runtime of my version is '76 min.
