Adam Strange drove around London in an Austin FX3 taxi cab (reg: TYK 822), because he could park anywhere for long periods of time and go unnoticed in any neighbourhood.

The series was a huge success in both England and in America, and another run was planned. However, the production team wanted to film the second season in America, and neither Anthony Quayle or Anneke Wills particularly wanted to leave the UK. Thus, only the one set of episodes were ever produced.

The show was made by American producers and (sometimes, by no means always) American scripted despite being made in England. As a result, from the first time Anthony Quayle and Anneke Wills got a script, they started re-working the lines to make their dialogue sound more genuinely English, with the full blessing of director Charles Crichton.

Despite the producers having a deal with a Carnaby Street store for Evelyn's wardrobe, Anneke Wills mostly wore her own clothes, some of which she made herself, because they were more fashionable for the time. Wills even kept a sewing machine in her dressing room, in case she needed to quickly run up an outfit or alteration.
