According to Bosley Crowther's 11/20/1964 review in the NYT's: "English subtitles do poorly by the badly dubbed Italian dialogue. I say dubbed because the voices of Mr. Crawford and Mr. Basehart are not theirs." Myself, I thought it sounded like Crawford's voice. So I don't know if that is just Crowther's opinion, or a fact.
