Nita Bieber, Gloria Patrice and Ruth Godfrey filmed a scene where they impersonate The Three Stooges, a companion piece to the Stooges impersonation of the girls as ballerinas. It was edited before the short was released. The mystery of the girls wearing suits in the final scene is thus explained.
The pill gag was originally written to have Curly Howard pop the pills into his own mouth, but his physical coordination was poor due to his failing heath. The gag, then, had to be changed and Moe Howard ended up popping the pills into Curly's mouth.
The $1,000.00 a week offered to The Stooges and the girls would be the equivalent of about $14,000.00 a week in the year 2021.
Larry breaks the fourth wall in this one. When he kisses Tilda, he looks at the camera and says, "This I like." He starts to kiss her again, then looks back at the camera and says, "And I get paid for it too."
