In a rare departure, Bugs is briefly depicted as having five fingers, instead of the usual four (as his hand is searching for the carrot on the magician's hat).
Bugs Bunny says, "If I dood it, I get a whippin'. I dood it!" The line is a reference to Red Skelton's radio character, the Mean Widdle Kid.
It is one of the few cartoons in which Bugs doesn't say his famous catchphrase "Eh, what's up, Doc?"
After Ala Bahma smears a pie on Bugs' face, Bugs turns to the audience and says the famous Groucho Marx's inspired catchphrase: "Of course you realize, this means war!"
This is probably the only cartoon where Bugs Bunny is seen as residing inside a tree. Usually it's a hole in the ground.
