There's a lot of differences between the script and the finished film. Originally in the script, on paying for ice cream Ollie never gets his change from the $5 bill, as he's charged $4.25 for the broken eggs on the counter. He takes the last egg and smashes it on the floor.
In the dinner party scene an unused gag had Mrs Hardy asking if anyone would like more. All decline except Stan who takes another helping of everything. Ollie makes a comment to Mrs Laurel on Stan's appetite. Cut back to Stan and he's already wiping his plate clean,

In the ice cream parlour Stan asks Charlie Hall what flavours he doesn't have. Originally the script had 0range, Walnut and chocolate but during shooting it was changed to Orange, Gooseberry and Chocolate as saying Walnut one can't sound menacing,
