Barbara Pepper is listed in a modern source as an actress in the role of "Blonde" in this movie, but she was not seen.

As the gang of bad guys race to Martin's boat, they are depicted as driving along Market Street in San Francisco and pass the Embassy Theatre at 1125 Market St. It was closed after the earthquake in 1989 and demolished in 1994. As of 2024 the site is still an empty lot.

The name of Martin's boat in the film is the "Falcon", but in the scene where he is diving under it to look for the gold, its real name is shown on the bow: "Ersatz" - albeit backwards as the image has been reversed.
