Working their fingers to the bone to prepare the set for an upcoming performance, the enthusiastic stagehands, Roscoe and Buster, find themselves on stage when the cast quits. However, is will alone enough to earn a big round of applause?

Roscoe and Buster are working at a vaudeville house. When the crew attacks the strongman for bullying his assistant, the man goes out on strike so the crew puts on a show. The enthusiastic stagehands, Roscoe and Buster, work their fingers to the bone to prepare the stage for Gertrude McSkinny's upcoming and unmissable performance. Before long, the first star arrives, an eccentric and pliable dancer, and then, a hulking and bullying strongman accompanied by his petite assistant, Molly. However, when the cast quits, it's up to the new acting troupe to ensure that the show will go on. Is determination alone enough to earn a sweet round of applause?—Nick Riganas
