I enjoyed the 1st "Bullet Proof" . I did not care for the new main characters. Wayans and Sandler were far superior to the new characters bearing their names. I cannot buy Faizon Love as the real Jack Carter. Skip this sequel and watch the original

This movie has lots of action, pretty good action too, and there are a lot of fun lines, even if they are mostly juvenile or misogynistic. I don't know why it doesn't work for me, it all just came off really flat. I can't even articulate why. It's not a total waste of time to watch, but don't be expecting the big laughs or any surprises.

If they're gonna recast, don't do a sequel. Reboot.
Do we need to teach them how to make movies too?
My guess would be that any positive reviews are created by people paid to promote the film. This thing was a complete waste of time. Not really a continuation of the previous movie. Stupid over the top characters and definitely wrong choices for leads. Poor acting.

Seriously, who made this movie? Absolute garbage. And who are these people who wrote the positive review? Have they no decency?
Not bulletproof 2. No Sandler, no Wayans, no Caan. It looked like extras made a film. Awful.

Don't know why this has such bad reviews. Yes it's not the first bulletproof, but it is still funny. got to take the movie for what it is and don't compare it to the first one. Definitely worth the watch.

This is possibly one of the funniest and most ludicrous things to ever come out of the film industry in my opinion.
I was very sceptical before seeing this, but it is quite good... the production is great, special effects are great, the women are beautiful.. This movie is nothing like the first one though... This is very good, but also very different. The two main carachters on the poster really does not make you want to watch this, but i promise you will not regret it

I read through the reviews here and most of them are BS. Let me break the movie down for you.
This is a sequel to the movie Bulletproof with Damon Wayans and Adam Sandler back in the 1996. Even though it is a sequel, it is more focused on comedy than the original and is raunchier. Basically, a lot dick jokes to give you an idea. You should view this movie as a separate movie from the original, they are nowhere similar. If you are expecting a copy of the original, don't watch this...you won't like it. Personally, I think this one is funnier since I was never a fan of the original. Any Adam Sandler fan knows he is a hit or miss depending on the movie. The original Bulletproof was a miss IMO with Damon Wayans not adding much to it. I am a huge fan of the Wayans family but Damon was always low on the totem pole. So the reviews that keep saying watch the original instead are just stupid as the original was considered a dumb comedy with poor ratings...they are acting like it is a "classic" now since there is a sequel, it was not.
I gave the movie an overall 6 but closer to a 5.8. The movie itself I would rank as a 5 and the writing for the main characters a 6.5. They have so many funny lines between them with a few from the supporting cast. I was laughing a lot throughout the movie. I am a fan of Faizan Love since Friday back in the 90's and he doesn't disappoint. Kirk Fox was a real surprise since I didn't know who he was before this movie. If you want a dirty comedy with some action and don't mind dick jokes, check it out.
With all that being said, they do explain the reason for the recast nicely. They say that the original movie was based on them following a story about them in a magazine. They even make fun of Adam and Damon for playing them. Most low budget sequels with a different cast doesn't try to explain it, but this one does the best job possible.

Lame humor and storyline throughout.
Bloody violence, nudity, and very crude language.

Like Faizon, he's better in small doses. He doesn't have the chops to carry a film. L

So, you're sitting down, watching a sequel to a 26 year old movie with none of the original people starring. It's pretty lame, although you have to admit, Faizon is always pretty fun.
Then, near the 3rd Act, there is a scene. THAT scene with Pearl Thusi. I can't express how shocking it is to see possibly the best seduction scene I have scene in years in the worst comedy I have seen all year.
Watch that scene. That is all. Holy crap, Thusi is a babe.

Plus boobs. Lots of guns and strippers and car chases. It was better than I expected. Worth it for the hotties. Had some laughs too. Plus big dude gets naked, that's funny.
We need this like we needed a hole in our heads (or a bullet). Thanks Netflix for making a follow up for a mediocre Adam Sandler film.
Finally a movie for guys!!! It's politically incorrect and funny as hell. If you can take a joke and give one back, then tune it. This is vulgar, in-your-face, funny-as-hell buddy comedy. The two guys were funny, the girls were great and super hot and the action was hitting hard! FUN!!!
Scrolling through the endless tirade of dumb action movies on streaming media, this one stood out. It was fun. It's not a movie that will change your life, but it was a perfect movie for me, home alone on a Thursday night that my girlfriend would never watch. Good times! Both leads worked well off each other and their relationship was much more realistic than the normal I hate you but I have to work with you sort of buddy cop movie. It says I have to write 133 more characters to complete this review. I am now considering if this movie is worth my extra typing. It comes close, but I think it really does. GJ this movie.👍
Where do I start?
1. This is not a movie, but a collection of action scenes while there is just enough one-liners to give the symbolism of dialogue between scenes. Oh, and during these action scenes there are so many edits, reshoots, multi-angles that you have absolutely no idea who is shooting who or why or even care.
2. Dialogue- Not really dialogue but a collection of one-liners generally screamed at each other. The one-liners are never funny, with a passion to be discussing various sexual body parts. The screenplay feel like it was written by a horny 14-year-olds.
3. Soundtrack: to make up for the sorry direction and storyline there is a banging rock or hip-hop song being played loudly in the background to distract you from the mess on the screen. The soundtrack when paired with the super-edited scene comes across like a GTA-inspired video game.

I won't lie, it was better than I thought it would be. But it wasn't the uproarious feelgood time I had with the first one. This one didn't have much for quotable quotes especially compared to the first. It felt more like having to watch a nephew or niece's awkward fanfiction. They wanted to know what happened next, so they wrote it and played it for you.
