Season of Love

Okay I am happy to be the first to rate this masterpiece. Since I already am a fan of Dominique as well as Jessica, I was more than happy to support this project. And since big networks don't seem to produce the content our community needs, or at least only up to a certain point.. I am all for indie movies supported/sponsored - from the fans, for the fans - like for example the Carmilla Movie.

Regarding the movie, which is a holiday movie (and the first queer one), it's cute, it's funny, it's charming.. it's everything you are looking for. It will make your gay/queer/straight/whatever heart warm and fuzzy.. and isn't this what it's all about?

I also want to add how greatful I am to be part of this amazingly kind, supportive community.. we ARE the change.

And thank you to the Season of Love-Team for this amazing movie and for the next big milestone in queer tv history!!

This film is such a feel good movie, one where you can snuggle in a cozy blanket on the couch and enjoy the struggle and beauty of love through the lives of these gorgeous women! Dominique did a fantastic job as per usual and it was so great seeing her use her talent of singing in her acting career. Cute storyline and awesome cinematography.

I don't wanna be too harsh here. At least, they made an effort to make a new queer movie. It's not to bad. I love Emily Goss and I think she deserves better than this. I got so bored, the acting is so are bad, the dialogues are poor. It was hard to watch at times. Anyway, some people may like it. Not for me. I skipped most of it.

Although having seen it out of season, I recommend this movie for those who want to have a carefree screening! Definitely not for cinephiles. Of course it's not an equivalent of Love Actually, but for such a low budget you can give it a try. Emily Goss is very classy and Laur Allen is convincing; my favourite build-up story!

The thing with all these low budget US movies is the make-up & styling. As a lover of European cinematography I honestly can't see the point of having all this make-up in every single scene. That's not realistic at all!

There are some comments here about poor acting. I think the script is weak but the actresses did their best to lift this movie up.

I cannot stop watching this film !! Brilliantly made and acted. Finally a Christmas film that's not all about a hetro couple falling in love ❤❤
