Stranded

I'm all for low budget films but this one was terrible. I will be honest, after 20 minutes I turned it off. The female sibling got on my nerves right from the start. She did the movie no justice. The way the film opened was a good concept but she did not make it easy to watch. I could not relate to any of the characters and decided not to waste my time.

These producers, writers, actors, should take notes from the 2012 movie, Bigfoot: The Lost Coast Tapes. That movie had great acting, great storyline, and kept u on the edge of your seat. For a low budget movie, they did a great job without having a stack of cheese trailing it. This so called movie Stranded is what not to do when making a Sasquatch film.

This was unquestionably the most painful movie experience of my 4 decade life. I try to give smaller budget movies a chance, because you can find some hidden gems there. And who doesn't enjoy a nice creature feature?

But this was complete trash. Every single character was absolutely annoying. If there is any credit I give to the script is that the writers found different ways for each character to be obnoxious. Most annoying fictional character in the history of film goes to Donnie. His screaming wife was terrible. The not so photogenic and bitchy sister terrible. Big brother with abysmal haircut, terrible.

I would have rather spent the same amount of time waiting in a DMV or doctors office than watch this drivel again. Peeyoo.

I like to give low budget movies the benefit of the doubt, cause some of them are actually hidden gems. But this?..... this is singlehandedly THE worst, most miserable excuse of a "horror" movie. Literally the entire movie was nothing but arguing and the worst acting I've seen from the siblings, who are not to mention, 3 of the most unlikeable people in a movie I've ever seen. Their entire personality was "Big Bro left, so let's just make him the spawn of Satan" and it was just so annoying. The creature was not threatening at all, and the costume was cheesy as hell. I was fully expecting SOMEONE to get kidnapped or something, for at least a CRUMB of excitement, but nope. This was singlehandedly the worst 80 minutes of movie that I have ever had the dishonor of watching. Please don't waste your time on this movie, unless your baked as hell. And even then, I wouldn't watch it lmao.

I read a couple of reviews for this stinker before I watched it. I almost decided to not bother but I thought "It can't be that bad, can it"? DANG!!! It suuuuuure can...and then some. An hour and a half of my life that I'll never get back. The "acting" here was soooo bad that it made my stomach roll. The fake arguing was soooo bad that I was embarrassed FOR the horribly bad "actors" doing it. A third grade school play has it all over this junk, garbage, trash. If you see this before you watch it, PLEASE take my advice and avoid this crap like a plague. I had rated it a two, but as I was writing this, I changed it to a one. Characters do nothing but complain and yell at each other. Gave me a headache. Characters have about 3 brain cells between the 4 of them. Please, save yourself a headache and skip watching this. The sasquatch costume is so bad, at one point you can see the person inside of it. He is only on screen for a few minutes. The whole rest of the time is just yelling and complaining. We suffered through the movie and finally had to turn it off when they were horribly fake crying at the end. They definitely could have done a lot better with a lot of the script and closing the actors. Definitely not what we were expecting when we started the movie.
