This games gameplay itself if some of the best I've have any played in a first person shooter. The movement is smooth and untouchable and the gunplay is a pleasant surprise. However, this game suffers from it being not consistently updated, having overpriced micro transactions, and just down right awful servers. You can be in the the middle of a match having the best game of your life and then poof suddenly the game kicks you with something along the lines of code net and won't even let you back into your game. This is very frustrating and wish the devs would pay a bit more attention to it. Still, it doesn't complete ruin the experience since it happens once in a while. This game is already great, but it definitely has not met its potential.

Apex Legends is probably the best free to play battle royale game there is. It is not extremely violent and great for teens to play aswell. The game has a number of characters and weapons to choose from and each has their own special ability to bring to the table aswell. Definately check this one out!

Apex is a little bit violent, cause there are the finishers. I am 11 years old, and thats my first FPS* game. I dont like Fortnite now, they modified everything. In season 4, everything was nice but... its boring now. Apex is more difficult,hrd tom play.

Fortnite sucks so much I am glad apex exists I play as octane I want the el Diablo suit but I still like octane this game is so much fun I'm not good at it but I want to get better

Apex legends have definitely his place with the other greats battle royale. It has his own mechanics and characters. But i clearly dont like the way that we need so much time for see some news characters, maps and bugs correction. Can be annoying some times and boring.

Even though i never played PUBG as it was only on xbox and pc before it headed to ps4 in a pricey version as well as a free version on android (and soon ios), it was fortnite that drew me into the battle royale genre. It was addictive for awhile then i got tired and played mostly story games like spiderman, god of war 4, and red dead redemption 2. Once i beat them all, i decided to play Apex Legends, which came out of nowwhere to become EA's most downloaded free game of all time. Created by Respawn, who owns TItanfall and bases this game on the universe, Apex Legends puts players into groups of 3 trying to kill other people while the area is shrinking. Last man standing wins. Every game you play gets your leveled up. Sure, like other games, it can crash, but i had no issues playing, which begins with a tutorial before letting you play on your own or with friends. Controls are good , the graphics are great, and the soundtrack is well done and has more music and voices than Fortnite. GIve this game a shot and enjoy the fun!!!

This was at one stage my most played game, with over 800 hours racked to date. It's addictive, it's fun and has, in my opinion, the best combat/gun play of any game currently in existence.

However... Respawn... for some reason do not seem to care about the players. They charge extortionate amounts of money for skins, which being a 1st person shooter you can't even see anyway. On top of that, the updates are few and far between. Character and gun tweaks happen at the start and end of a season and the map changes, when they do occur are minimal.

I fear that apex one day will die with a fizzle, rather than the bang it deserves, potentially with a sequel or spin off maybe? But the developers clear lack of care for their community (whom they actively will not speak to) and focus on money will unfortunately be my favourite shooters downfall

This game used to awsome but the match making is now horrible and its being completely ignored by the devs and leadership. Im a casual player who likes to play to unwind but instead of being able to relax, it seems like every other game is just filled with the most hardcore players in the game. The ranked system is completely useless because now they have a hidden ranked system that puts you in games the ai thinks you belong in. So say you do really good one game it boosts you way up in ranks and in the next game it puts you against ppl in a completely different league than you. Iv played since launch and i enjoy the variety the game has to offer but whoever is calling the shots for it now are missing every one of them.

The game is a unique take on the Battle royal genre. I love the diffrent abilities and personality each legends have and i love that the game focuses on teamwork. Thats what makes it stand out. The lore is AMAZING and one of the reasons that sets the game apart from the other BR games. Titanfall has the best movement ive seen in an fps game and Respawn brought some of that movent over to Apex!!!

Pros: insane MOVEMENT , MOVEMENT and MOVEMENT. Very fun lore that u even get to experience in game. Free to play. Amazing gun fights.

Cons: some bugs but at least they try to fix them as quickly as possible.

If u like BR games u should 1000000000% try Apex Legends, u should try it even if u dont like BR games!

You can barely ever play it under normal conditions, low FPS rate, the worst servers in any game this mainstream. So how can I rate the Apex legends that the pros play and streamers promote, that's not the same game you will be sold? And this game may be free, but you can easily spend money on it, should you get addicted to the packs like so many do. A game is more than just a game these days, it is also an experience, and the Apex experience is one of the most frustrating and toxic out there, the game is amazing, but there is no single player. It's like Borderlands without the amazing playable story. They created an Apex story that most people don't even really care about, but it doesn't really influence the game, they just seem to make up the story to pave the way for new content.

An example of how creativity is destroyed by the hands of capitalism.

Its a great game! Its like Fortnite, call of duty, and overwatch had a threesome and their baby is this beautiful and complex game: Apex legends.

Pros:

• Good gunplay
• Large maps with varied elevation / some regional variation too
• All classes are equal in ability, no OP ones
• Ping system is amazingly helpful

Cons:

• Nice to have more characters and maps
• Limited game modes

Verdict: In comparison with other battle royales of Fortnite and COD Blackout, this IMO is probably the best one. Free so great to try out.

I have been playing fortnite since it came out but after a while I got board of it and one day I looked in the PlayStation store and found this game and I'm still not board of and it's the best multiplayer game ever this is the least board I've been all day (octane) 2019

The game is pretty great. Mechanics are hard to learn but otherwise an amazing beautiful game.

Listen I'm addicted to Apex and I don't consider myself a gamer I just play after work but the Matchmaking it's horrible!!!! I end up playing with diamond ranks for example in Control or Gun Run. It loses the fun I can't compete I know i know i do suck playing but there's statistics for a reason so the game can put you with people on the same skill set. And I don't want to talk about cheaters cause I'm really dumb to identify one cause pretty much I would not see any difference between a cheater or a diamond rank player.

Besides that it's really good, the aesthetics, the design, the movement ect.

Apex Legends' matchmaking system has left me frustrated and disappointed. It's disheartening to see how this system is slowly but surely eroding the enjoyment of the game. The frustration of being matched against players of vastly different skill levels is a recurring issue. This results in one-sided, unenjoyable matches that discourage players from continuing. The matchmaking system should prioritize balanced and fair games, not simply speed. If this issue isn't addressed soon, it's hard to see how Apex Legends can maintain its player base and reputation in the long run. The game's potential is undeniable, but the current state of matchmaking threatens to undermine its success.

I had loads of game crashes and freezes. All of em stopped when i turned v-sync totally off.

Gun play is not the best there is but it's good. I have emptied a clip of light ammo to player whom then turns and shoots me with 3 shot, but i had no armor and he had tier 3 body armor. (how i know this ? team mate killed him after that and revived me so was able to look at his gear)

A new title so there will be lot of tweaking still. So far i like roughly 60h played.

Legends (classes) are different enough from each others so everyone should find one they want to play.

Atm i say give it a go if you don't like it there are plenty of other battle royals out there.

This game is very nice and still coming with a ton of interesting updates. I don't have much negative to say about this game, exept one and only. The biggest mistake that respawn are making - IS NOT FIXING THE SOUND. Like for straight 5 years this game hasn't improved in the sound direction. U still don't hear sh88, while u shooting someone. This is messed up. I had like a direct situation, where one dude is pushing me. I hear him like about 30 meters from me and then he goes silent. Of course, anyone would think that he just stopped and took position to fight off of, but nah. He and his three teammates already doin a menaje a troua with ya, while u are being deaf af.. I don't know why they still can't do it. But not minding this only one problem, the game itself, probably, the best battle royale out there, with the ton of abilities, that change every 90 days\season, with it's own storytelling and a feel for a certain character. I, personally, didn't like this game at first, but I gave it a chance, after my friend asked me to. Even tho, I abandoned it for a half a year, 'cuz I didn't liked it, it all went out pretty much unexpected. Now I have 1.8k hours and some master emblems, with some nerve damage). Just fix the sound and keep on improving the game as you do, and your community will not only post on xvids) U might hear about server problems, sudden kick outs and stuff. That happens, yeah. They are fixing it, yeah. Never has been such a pain. Tho I didn't had no server issues, since 15 season, but kick outta nowhere happens, but not that often. Just give it a chance. If u like povshooters or battle royale genre, u will like this one as well. Giving it a straight 7. If it didn't had so much issue with sound it woulda been a 9, 'cuz little glitches are still there. Stay sane and safe, aight?

I've been playing since the game launched and I feel like it's come to a point where I've had to write a review on this game as its quality has not just been slowly decreasing but in the past year has plummeted off the cliff. The gameplay though exciting and fast paced and more than a little addictive is over shadowed by several massive issues such as matchmaking I am a gold player I've never been higher probably never will. For context the ranking system goes rookie -> bronze -> silver ->gold -> platinum > diamond -> masters -> predators who are the top 500 players in the world on your selected gaming platform so I'm a middle of the road player or I was anyway but I ended up quitting the game as thees issues I'm about to talk about including the matchmaking system stopped making the game enjoyable for a casual player like myself as the matchmaking system was constantly putting me against predators and masters, players way above my skill level so when I was playing the game I would be coming up against these opposing players and just getting walked all over not really a chance to win 99% of the time. That put the enjoyment out of it for me when your spending most of your time in the lobby screen rather than playing the game. Then I come back from my 3/4 month hiatus to find myself put in them exact same games as before people with predator and masters badges as well as people with 20 kill badges and everything else I've been trying to get into it again see if it's enjoyable but right now I've died over 100 times but have less than 10 kills it's become a rubnung joke in the apex community that this happens in order to fix this you should have a matchmaking where your only allowed to fight 1 up or 1 down in your rankings from the previous 3 seasons. Now this matchmaking issue alone would make most people quit and I'm sure apex has seen a massive drop in players the past year but you also have other issues like the audio your supposed to be able to hear people's footsteps as their running around or hear them do things like climbing a wall or opening a container or door but a lot of the time the audio queue just isn't there so you find yourself getting ambushed from an area where in your mind there shouldn't be anyone because of no sound coming from that direction. Another issue is lag abusers and such with you giving the option to join any server in the world your opponent can abuse the lag in the system to either have killed you before you've even seen them turn the corner or even though your hitting them with your bullets the damage isn't registering and they just destroy you because of that. The developers whether it be EA or Respawn I don't know who makes the decisions on what's going on also don't listen to the general player base and straight up lie about things they have repeatedly promised to fix the audio and matchmaking that's never happened they've promised a next gen update when the current gen of consoles came out about 2 years ago and that still hasn't materialised at this point it's not even a next gen update it's a current gen one. They impliment the ideas of the elite players and streamers who are wanting things different to 80/90% of the regular players in short this was a fantastic game for it's genre quite possibly used to be the best but it's fallen so low in and there are no signs of improving the quality of the game and it just seems like the owners of the game are trying to milk it for every last penny with increasingly ridiculous microtransactions that I don't think I shall be playing anymore unless there are drastic changes and I'm sure that a lot of other players have already left and I'm sure more are contemplating and are going to leave in the near future if the quality of this game doesn't improve and it'll be an example of how you had a multi £billion game and let it fall to pieces around your eyes because you were more interested in short term cash than anything else.
