Disco Raja

After a long time Ravi Teja came with disco raja movie. We can say that movie was good to see. Some scenes are perfect. Ravi Teja acting was good. But we can say that the movie was much not connected to audience. Atlast we can see the thrill suspens. It would be good. Totally we can say that movie was sci-fi, thrill and suspens.

Thaman's retro music is a big pro for this film, BGM was a big booster for the overall film, though it was repetitive, it still wasn't boring. Without music & bgm, this film is nothing more than the usual telugu cinema crap.

Ravi teja's usual jovial performance does work out really well for the kinda characterisation of the protagonist.

The plot revolves around madras but very little Tamil reference was given with just a handful of roles throughout the film and that was a bummer the way Telugu over Tamil was being portrayed was thankfully broken in the climax twist and hence it becomes a likable film for audiences from both the regions/states.

The double action was required just for the twist, otherwise, the 2nd character didn't add any value or wasn't characterized well or wasn't used at all.

And as usual, the heroine's character was useless although the disabled heroine's character did add value to the film.

And Bobby Simha's character naming matching his classic role in the Tamil film Jigarthanda doesn't seem to be coincidental.

The story & screenplay was good enough with a decent mix of twists sprinkled but still, somehow it feels like the film is just like other Telugu films only and nothing much.

Overall, it is a one-time watchable one for commercial/masala film viewers.

Although the teaser and trailer were promising, the movie failed to make its mark for entry on science fiction in telugu film industry. The director didn't use the cast properly and also the background score was more worse. Same BGM was used throughout entire second half and there no josh in the second half as well. There was a tad bit comedy in the first half but the second half was of lame jokes and slow execution, there may be a plot changing turn in the end but due to lack of josh and movement the turn didn't yield any enjoyment. All around it's just movie without the content it promised

Entertaining Movie, Ravi Teja acting was Marvelous. His timing, his perfomance was superb. Direction & Screenplay was Ultimate

An unexpected kind of movie from an unexpected actor with an unexpected twist.

This movie can't be categorized to one particular kind of genre. It's a mix of Sci-fi, action, Crime, Thriller and Comedy entertainer.

Movie begins on an interesting not but goes routine in sometime and becomes a regular pattern, but the kind of presentation is what holds the audience interest if something interesting gonna happen which never happens.

Mass MahaRaj as Disco Raja was good. As usual joshful and energetic action with no overacting.

Songs are good and goes in the flow of story, so don't feel like watching songs.

All heroines have limited screen presence but were good in their roles.. Payal got good role.

Comedy is fine.. (Vennala Kishore)

Bobby Simha as Usual at his best but his characterization is poorly designed. Looks powerful but no much impact.

Sunil was impressive.

Definitely this kind of movies are not going to be money spinners at box office irrespective of the talk.

There is nothing much to say on highlights nor negatives very specifically.
