Dimension 20

I have been hooked since the first season came out two years ago. Each episode is 2+ hours long, and they have about 20 episodes for the main seasons. At this point they have 2 main seasons, 2 bonus seasons, a new main season coming out in 5 days, and a live series as a continuation of the first season. (Each main season has the same players but different characters) There is a reliable and fun fan base, they update their audience frequently, the show is funny, quick, and exhibits real character development. I highly recommend to anyone, regardless of their dnd experience but I warn you, this show will make you want to play and almost forces you to annoy your friends with references. The dungeon master is highly skilled, funny, and amazing at improv. Watch this and you will not regret it.

Top tier DMing from Brennan and top tier improv from the whole cast. An amazing introduction to DnD anyone can enjoy. It completely changed my perception of DnD and the limits of ttrpgs.

Cannot recommend highly enough. From high school drama to wacky space hot dog adventures to heart wrenching "game of thrones but candy land". Every campaign has a new engaging story beautifully crafted on the fly.

There are countless moments of joy, hilarity, triumph, loss, and heartbreak. My only caution is to not let D20 set the bar for your home game expectations, I doubt there are many campaigns in this world that could live up to it.

I never played or watched D&D, let alone very many TTRPGs before watching Dimension 20. I started with the unsleeping city and my love for it grew as I went. I recommend it to Sabrina. It's funny and sad and honestly been such a bright spot during the pandemic.

I've never been able to get past the cringe factor when watching people play D&D, but CollegeHumour somehow just OWNS it!

The setting is kind of farcical, but not to the point that the characters can't evolve with each session. And watching the actors improvise and adapt while playing is just pure joy.

There is a huge variety of storylines and its not all for me but there is something for everyone and it is the most fun you will ever have. Don't be put off by the fact that you are watching them play dnd. It is honestly immersive and once you have watched the first episode of Fantasy High you will be hooked. I disliked The & but it is interesting and many people would. Be careful before you watch if you dislike sexual or sweary things as some campaigns and episodes can be disgusting so it is probably best to be over 15 before you try it. You will want to be part of the story and play D&D after watching. You should give Fantasy High and Starstruck Odyssey a chance if nothing else. You wont regret looking at the highlights either. Its full to the brim with lgbt representation( asexual awareness is definitely there in fantasty for sure in case you thought it might not represent you). But it is also full of mental health representation and belly laughs too.
