Background Score is excellent , followed by the black and coloured rendition . Acting is average except for ''HAKINI'' the alpha witch . Duration could be more with more intense ordeal of TT .

You guys just destroyed "The Classic" by adapting that to this kind of rubbish. Producers, Directors, and the Screenwriters like you make the people unwilling to watch adaptations. Why? Why did you guys have to make this adaptation? This is so miserable that it made me vomit! In another review it is said that you should go space as aliens. But, I think aliens won't even accept you as their piers. You guys are totally disguisting. The charecter design is not even close to the original literary piece. Why did you guys born and came to this world? To make these kind of nonsense? I wanted to subscribe to Hoichoi. But after watching this, I know that it will be a waste of time and money. If there was an option, I would have rate this adaptation negetive stars to infinity.

He completely ruined the essence of the story in such way that if Taradas was alive he would kill himself before watching the destruction of his creation.

They have murdered my boy Taranath Tantrik. Just destroyed each and every story with great care. Feels like the entire case and direct was on acid while writing the screenplay.

Anyone who has read the stories of Taranath Tantrik would hate to watch this series. If Q wants to mess up things through his forcefully and therefore meaninglessly different style of execution, he should look at stories that he has written himself. Not masterpieces by the likes of Bibhutibhushan Bandopadhyay.

Added to the unnecessary trippy presentation, we also have stilted acting. Not a single actor acted the way the story required them to. Kishori and the narrator were particularly bad. Taranath could have been someone from our own industry - bengali cinema does not have a dearth of accomplished seniors.

Chari's character is shown as if she's a mysterious woman of the night who sells drugs on the sly. God! As far removed from reality as could be.

And then there are the quick and abrupt scene changes and sharp music to instil fear and awe. None is instilled.

Don't watch this. Go read the book for a real trip.
