Demain est à nous

Two of them actually - but as you can tell I was trying to be funny (and hopefully succeeded, you'll be the judge of that). This is about a new generation (still true 3 years later), that tries to change things, that tries to help others even while being ridiculed by some others.

When Fridays for Future started - many said that people were using it as an excuse to not go to school. We are all different, so some probably used it for that reason. But there is also a lot of positive messages and vibes in the movement. The documentary follows a few young everyday people and their (normal) everyday struggle ... and their activism too. Greta already is polarizing ... but whatever you may think of her and her quest - understand that the goals she has are worthwhile ones. And again even if you don't feel that way: she is a human too. You are free to disagree (hopefully not), but do not be mean and hateful - we are all in this together ... one of the messages of this movie ... which I hope gets across ... even if it is only because I wrote it here (no offense)

In this doc. we follow José Adolfo, winner of the 2018 Children's Climate Prize, and a group of unknown children who (also) contribute to a better future.

It stands out for focusing on the winner (founder of an eco-bank for poor children and young people in Peru, by the age of13), but also on five other children, between 9 and 14 years old, from different parts of the globe, who make a difference at local/community level, and that never have been recognized by any organization.

Underage marriage, school dropouts, support for homeless people and the fight for the rights of victims of child labor are some examples of the causes that these children struggle to end daily.

"I don't mind carrying the pain of others, as long as I can transform it into joy", a phrase said by a 10-year-old boy, which leaves any adult to think about.
