I really enjoyed this film, when I first saw the cover I was wondering what this was about. The Strong sisters have sucked me into their world. If you are looking for big budget Marvel level effects and CGI, this may now be the film for you, But if you like urban films and was to see something different you will enjoy the film.
Representation is very important in the world and strong African American Sister's on screen is right on time, they aren't using their bodies to influence anything, they are using their minds and spirits to draw us into their world. Keisha stole the show for me. I love that I can watch it with my entire family. I can't wait for part 2.

Ella, Vin and Liv could be sisters from any city in the USA and face obstacles far beyond average everyday life. The film takes place in Oakland California and addresses some of the real issue that plague that city like homelessness and sex trafficking. The way they come together and learn about their families "Strong" abilities was really cool.
This story of the strong sister's have drawn me in. I want to see a part 2. It's an Indie urban film that delivers much more thank you would think. Thank you to the filmmakers for thinking out of the box and providing a film that has Strong Black Women in leading roles.
