Groundhog Dave

This. This movie is so good I had to watch it in 0.25x speed to fully soak it in. Where do I even start. The way the reused assets communicated flowed so smoothly. The way the mouth tracking didn't match one word said. It really adds to the viewer experience. The cinematic makes you feel immersed in the world of Bucketville. The final chase scene where Groundhog Dave is chasing Mr Whatnot brought a tear to my eye. My only criticism is that the movie was too short. I plan to watch this movie for years to come, and to share it with my future kids to pass on the tradition. Ill be waiting for Groundhog Dave 3.

Groundhog Dave is like a violent car crash. It's so horrible to look at, but somehow you just can't look away. It took my girlfriend and I three days to watch the full 70 minutes of this movie because we kept falling asleep during it. Despite this, we were enthralled in what the fate of Bucketville (or Basketville, we're still not really sure yet...) would be. Every time we woke up there was a new character on screen, who for some reason spoke at a completely different volume than the others. Dave's quiet mumbles were complemented by Chester's ear blistering shrieks. In the background of almost every shot was Dave's rotating satellite dish, which is where probably half the animation budget went. I can confidently say the other half did NOT go to Dave's character design and movements. Dave's eyes deeply pierce your soul. The fact that he only moves a foot per minute is poorly masked by how violently and unnaturally he swings his arms while walking. To say this movie even approaches having a plot is generous. The characters mostly stand around having mindless conversation. This movie has no substance, which is precisely why my girlfriend and I enjoyed watching it so much. All of the points listed above had us laughing until our stomachs were sore. Our new safe word is Groundhog Dave. We will never forget these memories.

I don't know where to start. I have never watched a film that had put me through as many emotional rollercoasters as Ground Hog Dave has. The Notebook is a heartfelt story of love and loss, but yet it doesn't quite have the same impact that Groundhog Dave displays with its complex character development and the beautiful demonstration of the power of friendship. I thought Shutter Island had a mindblowing plot twist, but once again the geniuses behind this masterpiece deliver an ending that was quite literally life-changing. This movie gets me through the worst of nights, replacing my sleep-paralysis demons with visions of the most beautiful gay couple of all time, sweet Loaf and Beefy. The queer representation in this film is immaculate. I could go on and on, but I will refrain for the sake of your time and mine but believe me when I say you MUST see this movie. The trip that Dave takes you on is one you'll never forget.

This movie is Mankind's biggest Sin. It is so boring that I had to fast-forward Or else I Would have died. In the first Half of the movie (the only Part I watched) there are Two scenes That have the Movement The rest IS talking.1/10.

This is the best movie i've ever seen. The cinematography in this movie is out standing. Not to mention the artwork looks out of this world. If you ever need to see a movie watch this, i rewatch this almost every week. And the story is just keeps getting better from the start of the movie too. Please watch.
