The Airline "Neboflot" ("Nebo" is the Russian word for "Sky") is a reference to the famous Russian Airline "Aeroflot".

On the 13th May 2025, after the release of the movie, the newspaper "Novaya Gazeta", that was mainly featured in he movie, released an interview with Anna Politkovsaya's son Ilya by movie critic Irina Karpova about the movie. About Maxine Peake's it was said that she is Holding the movie and prevents it to become "television Soap". Ilya said that he wanted to give the movie a Chance but didn't like it and criticized inaccuracies in the movie. He explained how there were changes and discussions about featured Moments but there was no compromise at the end. He said that "If they are going to call it a 'Biopic', then it is a bad Biopic". He also dismissed the comment of Director James Strong that the the movie was liked by Anna's sister and that Dmitroy Muratov, the Editor of "Novaya Gazeta" supported the movie. Ilya also said that Maxine Peake partly resembled his mother in character and praised how well she played his mother. About the message of the movie he criticized that it was not mentioned any of the Leaders of Chechnya, e.g. the Name of Kadyrov. He hoped however that the movie might catch the Viewers to learn About the work of his mother.
