Memoirs of a Spectrum Addict

In all seriousness I've seen better summings up of the era on YouTube from the likes of Kim Justice. The title is misleading for a start, it's more like video missives of a few industry people rather than anything that really captures what owning a spectrum meant to kids at the time.

I've been gaming since the late 70s and the Spectrum era was probably my fondest period but this film just doesn't get 'that feeling' over. If you tried to explain what so great about it to an outsider they'd be none the wiser after watching this.

I love the Speccy Addict documentaries & have watched all 3 many times over since release. You can tell that they have been made with a real passion for the subject. Some absolute legends of the industry have been interviewed here & there are loads of fascinating stories.

Would highly recommend even if you only have a passing interest in the 80s computer scene, if you are a Speccy nut then it is essential!!
