Les Miles (The Mad Hatter) was originally cast as Doc, but the filming schedule changed and Les was no longer available.

Studio sets were constructed inside the warehouse of a pet boarding house named Boxers Bed & Biscuits. The facility was once a Middleton Doll factory.
