Here's the thing. I like Brad Jones and his character "The Cinema Snob". I tune in every week or so to see him review a movie as that character. But that's really where he needs to stay. He's not an actor and neither is anybody else in this movie.
The first Cinema Snob movie I was lukewarm on. It was "amateur hour in Chicago" I think I called it. Non-actors and community theater actors doing their thing. But it wasn't bad. It was okay. Not something I'd want to see again but I'm not angry I saw it. This one? My god it's dull. I made half an hour into the movie before turning it off. It's just a bunch of people trying to act, spout dialogue and not succeeding.
And the fact that this movie has 110 ratings, most of which are either 10's or 1's and not one actual review really sus. Almost as if nobody actually watched it and rated it good or bad based on how much they liked Brad and his character.
I get what he was going for but it just doesn't work. This didn't feel like a movie.
