Benjamin Noah's short film New Woman is ambitious. It's the kind of film that shows the entire cast and crews passion for movies/tv and movie making. Everything down to it's intriguing story, gothic set designs, costumes, cinematography and using beautiful Newfoundland scenery to great affect. The score was also very impressive and really helped to set the tone of the film. When watching the Blu Ray, the picture quality was top notch for a low budget short film and the whispering voices, waves of the ocean and birds flying in the film would come through my surround sound speakers perfectly. New Woman lays the groundwork for an even bigger story to be explored and I think many people would be interested in seeing it! This is definitely an indie period piece to be proud of, and it is awesome to see the Newfoundland film community do these things and have fun with it. Great job all around!
