So I knew all of this already, but historians are total geeks for retellings of things we already know, so I was excited to watch the series ... of commercials?
I mean, these "history breaks" are shorter than my cats' attention spans. I'm guessing they were a feature in a show, like before it cut away to commercial.
But my big point of confusion is, why are the episodes numbered 1, 2, & 4, if there's only 3 of them? Someone have a superstition against the number 3? Are we missing some? Could we not afford a #3? Just curious. Sure, I didn't know this series existed for what, 7 years, after it came out? But someone should have.
There are *plenty* of badass women throughout history. Y'all need to give them more than 2 minutes, and maybe explore their backstories a little more?
Would have a much higher rating from me if I had more episodes to watch. Women deserve better. Believe it or not, historians have been writing great research on women in history for decades now.
