Rakesh, an out of luck DJ, has just found out that the gig he was to perform in Goa, has been canceled. He is in urgent requirement of money to save his Dad's clinic and in that desperation, partly agrees to carry a packet on his return flight to Delhi. He doesn't realise what's in the packet and the consequences. A bunch of devastated employees of an airline that is shutting down, decide to hijack it's last flight in a bid to recover some dues and to punish their employer. It's the same flight as DJ Rakesh's. With them are flying a bunch of interesting and some weird passengers. Things take a funny turn when people on the flight accidentally get high on the dope including the high jackers. As the plane loses it's direction, the fliers behave out of their minds, the flight turns into one big party...high in the sky.

Not to be taken too seriously.

An attempt at being funny. That's all this movie is.

Yes, the premise is rather funny, but the execution is poor, sadly.

What could have been a long sketch-type comedy has been taken too seriously by the director, leading to gaping holes in direction, screenplay, set accuracy and even continuity, at times.

But if you're a fan of Sumeet Vyas and Kumud Mishra for their work with TVF, give it a watch, because they're the best part of this production.

Not unbearable in any sense, just not to be taken seriously.

The best situational comedy in the league of DCH

The best movie of 2018. Missed watching this in theater. Real trippy. The last trippiest movies for me were DevD & Shaitan.

amusing but only in parts

#HighJack is amusing, but only in parts. Some morons try to highjack a flight. Its quite clear that they r not hardened offenders. But no one knows whats their demand. Do they want an autonomous country? A female is called 'ugly' because she looks like a male. There is a back story of an airline which is about to go bankrupt. Vyas is good as the stoned DJ. The lady seated next to him keeps touching him inappropriately. The boy next to him has the irritating habit of poking his nose where its not required. Running time should be reduced by 20 minutes. Rating 2.5/5.

Fun & Enjoyable

Light chill type of movie, the one that you watch just for time pass. Better than a lot of big budget comedy films like Singh is Bling, Welcome Back, etc.. It's nice to see that they didn't put any annoying/unnecessary song & kept the movie short.

One of the best

Though it might seem from the rating that it is not good but listen to me it is one of the best movie you'll ever see out there. It seems to be bad but it's so good that you don't even realize it is so funny from time to time that you laugh and you don't even realize and you have so many moments that you go like what happened and it's so funny and you just laugh and it's great. You should watch it. And watch everything clearly the music was great. I mean, you can just hear it in your ears and you will be flabbergasted. The singing was on point and the plot went great. I can't tell you how great the movie is for me and my family as I watched it with them it's great.
