फ़ीचर्ड समीक्षाएं
It has been a long time since I've seen such a bad, BAD movie. The story is lame, the acting is awful, the CGI is a 5 yo child work. Ghee... what a waste.
I sometimes look forward in watching low budget films. Just because a filmmaker had little or no funds many can actually create something that is worth watching. This is not the case. I could not get through the second scene. The first scene opens up in a bar. The acting was pretty poor, but what really made it bad was the lighting. Apparently shot during the day, but with tungsten lighting above the bar. Blue scenes showing through the large window from behind and orange actors. Anyone knowing what they were doing would not have that happen. That's lazy. Second scene was in a car, at night. Really bad lighting for a car scene. Only light was this strong light coming from the left side of the vehicle. No fill, no moving lights indicating the car was in motion. There are several tricks that can be done to light a car properly to make it seem it's actually moving and see the actors. This was a stationery car with a big light shining in the left windows. Could not finish watching the scene. Have no idea what was going on as the lighting was so bad. Knew immediately that this was not worth wasting my time. No money, at least take the time to light your scenes properly. Just plain lazy.
How in the world did we come to this point in human history? How can you make a movie that is devoid of anything resembling skill and passion. I will tell you how!
First of all, you break the laws of physics and time and quantum mechanics and make a film as short as this one feel like I'm watching the damn Thornbirds mini-series (oops, just showed how old I am). Second, you hire a "creative" team that lacks passion, skill and time to make this film. And finally....you grift a lot of money from a lot of sources to get this made.
I mean...everything about this film is bad. Too many characters. No one can act. Bad sound. Bad cinematography....heck bad everything from a technical standpoint. Why are these films being made? Is there some kind of tax grift we don't know about?
Don't watch this film man. Don't torture yourself. Watch Battlefield: Los Angeles (which this film was most definitely trying to steal from) and let this one gather dust in the .99 cent bin at the Circle K.

Well, granted I knew that this was not going to be movie experience of grand nor epic proportions. But still, the movie did have an interesting enough synopsis that it could prove to be entertaining.
But it really wasn't...
First of all, the title of the movie made absolutely no sense in comparison to the storyline and what actually transpired on the screen. As such, I felt like I was tricked by an interesting cover/poster and ended up watching something else entirely.
And truth be told, the storyline was generic and predictable. In fact, so much to the point where it was just becoming less than interesting to actually keep up with the things that transpired.
The acting in the movie was adequate, taking into consideration the type of movie that it is, its premise and its budget. The actors and actresses were doing okay enough with whatever little material they had readily available from the script and storyline.
Now, then comes the alien creature. Wow. Just wow! And that is not meant as a good and astounding wow. No, this was a creature (or alien) design that was so stereotypical and generic that it was actually cringeworthy to watch. Think a mixture of Jason Voorhees and the Predator, except the alien creature in "Battlefield 2025" lacked everything crucial from both these characters to make it an interesting or noteworthy creature on the screen. It just felt like something taken out of a poor man's Sci-Fi home video.
I am rating "Battlefield 2025" a generous three out of ten stars. Why? Well, despite the movie's shortcomings, it should be said that the production value was quite good, and it showed that the film makers actually had their hearts in the right place for this project.
