As a fan of selva i didn't expect this.I never found him this much lazy on writing.Eventhough NGK had a powerful story weak screenplay lags everywhere. Many of the scenes were really inappropriate. 2nd half has many logic loopholes that makes much more boring. If you are expecting Selva magic please don't watch NGK

Even if we as an audience didn't get the vibe of selvaraghavan this movie is still absolutely amazing I have no words for this movie this is simple one of the best movies to you lot but for me in MyMcDonald's opinion the best political thriller I've seen out of all the movies Surya and Ilavarasu's acting is extraordinary absolutely speechless

Surya acting was beyond good but selvaraghvan terribly failed when it comes to screenplay,2nd half was a complete pain to watch. No motive at all and a wasted climax.

Being a selvaraghavan fan this movie disappoint me a much but suriya's acting is lit a one time watchable movie🤐that's it..

NGK is one of the most anticipated movie for both Surya and Selvaraghavan fans. But to be frank this movie is not worth at all and totally disappointed after watching.

The film is good.Roles done by Suriya and Rakul Preet plus Sai was just outstanding and held this movie that was lacking selvaraghavan's magic

This movie is an unmitigated disaster. The scenes have no coherent plot that ties them together. There are huge segments in the movie that can be cut out and still the movie would make sense (the words NGK and sense shouldn't be used in the same sentence). The acting seems way over the top. Sai Pallavi's acting is downright cringeworthy. I wanna rip my eyes and ears out when she is in the scene. Surya's acting is very inconsistent - he is calm and composed at times and is dumbfounded sometime and a psycho during others. They wanted to make an intelligent movie with some masala elements in it and ended with a bowl of rotten dung compost. Whether or not you want to sample this, is upto you.

I don't want to reveal the story... Watch Surya as a Hero in 1st half...💞 Assume Surya as a Villain in 2nd half..🔥

The movie NGK is just an average movie.The 1st half of the movie is good.But the second half was very lag.All acted well in this movie.All hope that selvaraghavan will give a good movie but Things changed and the movie become very bad.

* Suriya - Does his job perfectly in most of the scenes especially interval scene. Though he did some artificial kind of thing for two to three scenes which is actually weird. * Sai Pallavi - Here I can see Selvaragavan's actual way of potraying female lead, though she had appeared in few scenes but believe me she actually nailed it. * Yuvan - He was phenomenal as like always. He did massy way of treatment as the film travles, some scenes are found actually without even a single bit of music as the scenes are having a power packed dialogues. Selva - He usually do different kind of attempt in his movies, here it failed as I don't know the reasom where is actually the selva's raw kind of movie. Many scenes lost its logic and it's naturality.Yet, he does his things in story plot instead of tooking some raw stuffs and characterisations. Verdict : An average and usual political drama with many facts and in-depth views which will be only decoded by Selva fans and cinema lovers, a both selva and non-selva style movie!

Good movie can watch one time Suriya acting excellent

Disappointment is the word. A Suriya fan may deny the fact that this movie has failed the common audience, but that is the fact. Illogical scenes from a cult promising director like selvaraghavan was a huge disappoinment. The duo that somewhat looked promising has failed big time. Surya's performamce was good, the only thing that makes you hold on to your seats. Sai pallavi overacting in some parts. Rakul peet was amazing given justice to the role given. Yuvan music was a blessing! A Selvaraghavan's failed experiment.

Totally it's an above average movie.Suriya's acting is very good to watch and songs are good.

Would have given 0 rating. Giving a 1 star rating is being ignorant and kind to the film. Nothing makes sense in this movie. The sequential scenes which come after a scene have no connection. Unnecessary scenes receive more screen time. The cinematography sucks big time. That guy just puts the camera in the actors' faces. Surya performance is very good but we don't even have a clue of what his character is doing. There are some very loud characters which come regularly and the we get to see their faces zoomed in. Rakul's profession (Her character is over-hyped like she is said to had bring down 7 governments, lol) and the romantic(?) track with Surya is non-sense. I have saved the best for the last. Sai Pallavi's character is the worst character I have seen over this decade. Her every scene is cringe-worthy. I don't know if the character has been written as a psycho or not. Both Surya and Sai Pallavi's characters behave psychotic, whether intentional or not, are very unnatural and makes us very uncomfortable( I was like WTF). Overall, the film goes many places, making no sense whatsoever and not even Surya makes this bearable. NGK is a movie which will tell you how not to make a film. I don't know how some people are appreciating this film. Please don't watch this film in theaters. 100% money waste guarantee. Better watch another film. Don't worry, its not gonna be worse than this film.

Very Strong and Raw Content. Speaking about story of NGK Fabulous Movie, Selwa done very good job. Screenplay ,direction is Vere level. Suriya acting isOutstanding . U1 Raja Background score Fantastic.

A decent movie with lots of unnoticeable details... Selvaragavan said that Everything can't be spoon feeded in an interview Just Surya Sai pallavi and rakul preet Singh characters are well designed and not even negative characters haven't strong... 2nd Half of the movie is not well balanced as well as 1st half rushed and finished quickly... Even though Anbe peranbe songa has positive response but in the movie it acted as a speed breaker in the screeplay laaged it not much needed song...

Political movie with lot of hidden secrets, the music and bgm's were amazing... Surya acting was un comparable.Some might find difficulty to understand the story and find the secrets in it.It would be nice if it had different ending,we should wait for NGK2.. ❤ ❤

A great comeback of surya.. aftter 1.5 years A good story plot. But not new,a cult story of all political thriller. Still they entertained us.
