फ़ीचर्ड समीक्षाएं
I have made it thru three episodes, but can't take it anymore. The show tries hard to be like Oak Island, but misses by a wide margin. Unfortunately, it continues all the annoying practices such as lots of repetition, "war room" meetings, grand speculation, and obsession with Knights Templar. In addition, it misses the boat on some of the redeeming value of Oak Island, such as interesting characters, history of the area, and use of other experts and parties to solve problems. Marty and Rick are interesting to watch in using management skills, and interpersonal skills in addressing issues that come up on Oak Island. Civil War Gold is the other extreme, with an an apparent control freak who wants to do everything himself - and thus is not very interesting from any standpoint. The historical topic was what interested me to watch, but I cannot overcome the other negatives to continue.
This fact has never been raised on current shows!
The gold bars we see look painted and phony. Anyone with a brain and who is a driver could figure out exactly the spot to search from the video from the boat trangulated from the shoreline.
Sick of repetitive narrations episodes over because of this stupidity. Ridiculous.
Some practical Joker could have gone out and dropped phony gold bars in the lake as a joke!

I made it to Season 2 episode 7. The stupidity is just gotten to be too much. The two main guys seem to have an IQ of 60. I could tell them that the secret order of the sky said the sky is purple and they'd be nodding and running to repeat it to everyone.
Maybe they covered this but if someone back in the day intentionally pushed a box car full of gold from a ferry into Lake Michigan why wouldnt they of gone back for it?
I enjoyed the show. What I do not enjoy. Is the narration over and over of the same subject. Why do they feel the need to tell you the same thing at least five times in the same show? It gets very annoying. And I'm beginning to lose interest. We do not have to keep hearing over and over the same things.
