Bad Tutor

They should have named this movie "Alex Frnka's grotesque reddish-orange lips". Watch this and feel your brain cells die. Utter dreck. One star for the stupid but comely mom.

Most unconvincing mother , daughter duo yet ! No real bond between them, and a bit hard to believe that Emily , the daughter is a teenager !

Also, maybe she would have been better off taking a class in " how to apply lipstick " instead of chemistry !

Look ,the storyline has been pretty much done before , nothing really new here, all a bit predictable.

Devin , the obsessed stalker put in a decent enough performance , but I felt that he carried this whole movie , Karen , the mom, who could'nt decide whether she wore glasses or not, is not the best of actors, and the daughter was just as bad , lips and all !!!!

It did'nt interest me enough , or hold my attention for long , so just a 4 rating.

It was actually a pretty good movie but the actress who played Emily just creeped me out with the inflated duck lips. It was very noticeable the first time she appeared on screen and everyone in the room goes, oh my God, look at those lips! She's a pretty girl but just went way overboard with those lips!

This movie is one of the many Lifetime thriller movies we have seen a lot of times with some love violent weirdo who is calm and sweet from the outside and totally disturbed on the inside. This is the basic content of "Bad Tutor". I think the casting of Alex Frnka is the biggest let down and mistake of this movie. Her lips and teeth are creepy to look at and the way she is acting is like in a kindegarden / high school play. With her the movie falls to a cheap unprofessional production which isn't worth watching this one more than once and should just disappear in an archive. Vanessa Marcil isn't her best too in "Bad Tutor" but it's something you can overlook because the distraction is more by Alex Frnka. The story is acceptable but has its illogical moments and holes. I wouldn't really recommend it

The psycho is a fake chemistry tutor who quite sneakily works his way into the lives of a high school girl and aspiring musician and her single mom. It's quite good not the usual Lifetime movie where he is obviously wacko too early on.

The acting is pretty good and things are kept plausible.
