This is a film which is spoiled by the director itself by worst screenplay. The concept is really good, but unnecessary songs like lover also, iraga iraga & adding heavy commercial values and dull climax killed the film. Only thing which is good in this film is Allu Arjun's brilliant portrayal of Surya an angry soldier. He made the movie bearable.

1) Directer did a great job in conveying his message in an entertainful and transperecy manner 2) Hero Allu Arjun done justice to the subject of the movie by his unique style of acting 3) cast of this film is good but none of them has much role to perform 4) Music and BGM is good 5) Regarding Production values they handled them quite okk over all this movie will make us to give a taught about the current society

Though movie has week screenplay and week presentation but movie content is good.

1st half: Gripping,interesting.

2nd half: Week Screenplay, unnecessary Comedy

Climax: Average

Positive: Presenting Allu Arjun as an army officer is good to watch on screen.

Negative:10 min can be trimmed very easily.

Best movie best storyline and a great performance by Allu Arjun.

Allu Arjun puts in an excellent restrained performance, well supported good acting by the supporting cast. Excellent direction, as usual by Director Vakkantham Vamsi.

I saw the dubbed version, one can only imagine how much better it would be in the original language!

Allu Arjuna always best as a hero. Everything was perfect but expecting more twist in the story.

Being an Allu Arjun fan, all his new films I wait with expectations, but in case of NPS, expectations were in another level, especially when I heard its a patriotic action film. Also by hearing its cast and crew. Directorial debut of Vakkantham Vamsi who was the writer of Temper, kick and race gurram, acclaimed cinematographer Rajeev Ravi, Bollywood musical duo Vishal-Shekhar etc. Action king Arjun plays Allu's dad and Sarath Kumar plays the villain. Does NPS meet the expectations?

Story: Surya(Allu Arjun) is an army officer whose ambition is to serve in the border, but suffers from anger management issues. He gets rusticated from army when he shoots a terrorist in prison without any orders. But with the intervention of his godfather (Rao Ramesh) he is given one more chance with a condition that he must get a sign from renowned psychologist Dr. Ramakrishna Raju(Arjun) who is his estranged father. When surya meets him Ramakrishna gives him a task to control his anger for the next 21 days, then only he will get sign. Surya agrees but a local don Challa(Sarath Kumar) acts as a hindrance for surya to control his anger. Rest of the film is whether surya controls his anger, gets the sign and serve the border or not.

Plus: 1. Allu Arjun's performance: Bunny gives an extraordinary, fantastic and mindblowing performance as Surya. You get to see allu arjun as an actor and as a superstar in NPS. 2. Story: Unlike storyless Sarinodu and illogical DJ, NPS has a very good story. Vakkantham vamsi presented it in an honest way. 3. Action scenes: Fight scenes of NPS are awesome, especially the police station fight. 4. Songs: excellent album from Vishal-Shekhar. 5. Sainika song 6. First 30 minutes: Goosebumps guaranteed 7. Message: Film has multiple messages which is shown in an effective way

Minus: Inserting commercial elements: In srimanthudu, koratala Siva successfully inserted commercial elements and made it a universal entertainer. But vakkantham vamsi failed to insert commercial elements properly in NPS.

Verdict: NPS is a very honest film and best film of Allu Arjun came in recent times

This film show a relation between father and son. Patriotism for the country. Argue with villain, Being a ordinary person from a angry man. And romance between hero and heroine. Enjoy while watching. By the way, the cap trick in "Lover also Fighter also" is just awwwsome. So, I gave a extra 1 star for this awwsome song.

Story plotting superb.. scenes and dialogues are very powerful..allu arjun acting ek number bhai......Reality movie.. how minorities facing problems in this new india. they are not even getting recognized in their own country although they fought and they didn't left .... very good messages in this movie as well as life of a soldier ( who's dream is to protect country on border) and Minority status.. literally i got very emotional.. this is my country.. i felt very proud to be an indian.. thank you director sahab for giving such wonderful film to industry

Worst movie from Allu Arjun. Didn't expect a movie like this. Firstly, this movie is highly mismarketed on purpose. I'm pretty sure that producers watched the movie and thought the movie was garbage, so they used people's weakness: soldier fighting at the border. So they promoted it this way instead of promoting that the movie is about land mafia and how an off duty soldier saved a family from it.

Positives: Arjun Sarja. Plotline. Allu Arjun's dance

Negatives: Why Herione? Allu Arjun worst acting, trying to imitate Arjun reddy. Why is there a mother character? Waste of too many good actors. How Allu Arjun wins a fight against Thakur Singh? and many more.

Don't watch this movie. Most reviews here are totally made by hardcore fans. Allu Arjun dissapointed me with a useless movie again. Hopefully next one is better.

This movie is full of over-reaction. Movie story is too short. Movie plot is very slow. My expectation was very high because of Allu. But ,in a word I'm totally disappointed to watch this movie.

I wouldn't say it's totally the worst movie that will waste your time but the kind message this movie gives you is wrong. Allu arjun as surya being a Hot headed soilder with severe anger issues gives totally a wrong impact on people while he is promoting and inspiring people not to change or lose their character i.e to be aggressive and hot headed like him. Now, the people who already have some anger management issues instead of solving their problem they get inspired. I am talking from my own personal experience of how hard it becomes when somebody have some serious issues like anger management and it's not a topic to take inspiration from rather than it should be reduced. Yes, film mainly focuses on patriotism at the climax but the character showcased by allu arjun is quite not appreciable.

Good Movie. Allu Arjun and everybody acted very well in the movie. Songs were not good. BGM in the movie was good. The fighting scenes in the movie were excellent. The movie had many unwanted scenes in 1st half. In 2nd half the movie was good. The Tamil dubbing was good in the movie. The movie was not excellent but the movie was good.

A soldier who lost his career because of his angry finds to get his job back. In this process what he did and what he learnt from his journey of life...Allu arjun the way he showed character reminds him as a role in his film career... The real soldier.. The theme is Simple NUVVU INDIA LO UNDADAM KADU NEELO INDIA UNDALI .. that is the soldier. May be commercially not hit. But believe me this is the finest performance of ALLU ARJUN Till date. The film carries a good social message that internal enemies are harmful than external enemies. Allu Arjun's dedication is visible on the screen. His short tempered attitude is really applauded. Every action sequence in the film is very intense in such a way that Allu Arjun fan could enjoy a lot. Arjun Sarja and Nadia Moidu had done theirs best. Surely this movie all types of audiences especially Allu Arjun's fans. Second half is lengthy but very high on emotional content. At last the film is about patriotism and ends with a patriotic note. Sai Kumar is the foundation for second half. The fim is a sincere patriotic drama with all commercial ingredients like Action,Romance,Family Sentiments,Comedy. Some scenes in second half describing about a man's character inspires everyone. This is a must watch fim but don't try to raise any logic. Just watch it as a patriotic drama.

THE movie had a decent regular script but allu arjun and other star cast of the movie stole the show with there magnificent performance and the songs choreography was great too and the fight scene was also well choreographed. i liked the best thing on the movie is ALLU ARJUN performance was great too.

This film benefits a lot from the lead actor Allu Arjun, he steals the show, his expressions are good. He doesn't look bored when acting, he puts full energy into his dancing, his action. Overall, Allu Arjun does a good job. The film, however, suffers from one or two things; while i enjoyed the whole father-son sentiments, it drags on, and I find the whole auditorium scenes to be cheesy, I mean does it have to be on a stage? is it a play already? But the 21 day challenge does get things interesting. The central romance too is not well thought out, it's predicable and some of the melodrama could easily be edited out. Speaking of the editing, I think this film is way too long, there isn't a main plot, the Mustapha subplot comes in as afterthought but then the film slowly changes its entire focus on it. It'd be more impactful had the film spends more time on it earlier. The action scenes are very entertaining and over the top (as usual). While all the songs don't appeal to me, I think they're very well-done, and the choreography of dance is superb. Sets/Costumes of the music videos are easy on the eyes. The socio-political aspect of the film felt earned but its treatment is exaggerated and hilariously melodramatic.

Overall, "My name is Surya, my home is India" is a hybrid example of patriotism and entertainment for the masses.
