Holly Slept Over

Yep ... it's good movie .. do not look for values or something really deep .. it's a good story about couples .. great jokes .. and awesome shots.

I'm not really sure what else you'd be looking for in a "rom com" but this checks all the boxes for me. I'd never heard of it and had no expectations and was pleasantly surprised. It has a very real feeling to it and the actors did a great job. The only thing that was stretch a bit was the fact that people were very open with deeply personal issues. That's not typical but it doesn't mean it doesn't happen. If also a bit more vulgar than a typical rom com that wasn't made by Judd Apatow but I still found it pretty entertaining.

I was surprised to see the review score so low on this one. Definitely underrated.

Wasn't expecting much. Was actually pleasantly surprised. Charming and genuine in its own way.

I have good instinct about this movie even if it has low point and my instinct was right after ! I really enjoyed it while I'm watching it. And I recommend it to you for a 90 min of fun ! I don't even realize I 'm still in quarentine for 38 days !!!

It might be because I'm the perfect age group for this, but this movie was so honest that it felt good. Sexuality and relationships are inherently messy things, and this movie does everything justice while keeping things funny. I think the target audience for a movie like this might be rather small though, it doesn't really fall into any traditional categories or genres. This is maybe why there are some very negative reviews, but the acting is phenomenal, you identify or care about the characters, and it's wholeheartedly a good simple movie.
