For We Are Many

Lately I've been forcing myself to go into movies with absolutely zero expectations. This view surprisingly has paid off on more than one occasion. With such a rich texture of cinematic styles from the four corners there is something in this film for everyone - even if they don't enjoy every segment, there is bound to be one that appeals to their particular sensibilities (or lack thereof). I've never been a fan of demonic material as most people seldom understand its roots or real-world implications. But biblical inaccuracies aside, it is still a thrill a minute romp that doesn't let up from the opening credits to the final chord. Definitely deserves better than its score, which is weird because most of the users reviews are pretty good.

I don't know how anybody can find this trash appealing. Very juvenile and lazy attempt. None of the segments were remotely scary or interesting. Some were weird and deliberately confusing. The stories were pretentious and vague.Would rate this -10 if I could.

A solid horror anthology (more please!) with the running theme of demons. Some shorts are better than others as they vary in quality in terms of FX, cinematography, acting, story etc. but as micro-budget indie horror goes this is a refreshing and fun watch for anyone interested in horror.

Particular standouts were 'Creek,' a classic monster chase through the woods with a great end shot, 'Three Times Round,' suspenseful found footage film with a creepy tree, and 'Intervention,' a clever modern twist on possession via social media.

This is the worst collection of crap ever put together. Calling it horror is laughable, it's just horrible.

Anthologies as normally a hit or a miss with me. Sometimes the stories are a mixed bag of good and bad, and in For We Are Many, there's not really a bad one in the bunch. I guess it all depends on your taste, and what you're looking for in an anthology. I really enjoyed it. I'm a sucker for practical effects in movies and this is filled with them. It's an eight out of ten from me.
