Kaashi in Search of Ganga

The film begins very slowly and it really catches on your nerves when there are so many songs, all being unnecessary and dragging the story rather than helping it. The pace catches after 25 minutes only. I understand how important the first 25 minutes were to the story but it was written very lazily. Post 25 minutes into the film, the story gets into it's premise. There on, it gets better and better. The court drama is good in terms of story but the screenplay, the acting, the foolishness is so horrible and so irritating yet the story of the film holds on until the climax. That climax ruined the film. It was such a let down. I was also looking for metaphors with the names 'Kashi' and 'Ganga' but in vain. Very disappointed with the climax, the court scenes, the acting (including Sharman Joshi) and those songs. Those horrible, irritating, unnecessary songs.

Different and amazing storyline. But accept Serman Joshi all casts are poor in acting. Direction is also not good. Simply it's all fault of director who can't use this wonderful storyline. But overall one time watchable. suspence in climax was amazing.

I watched this film with a headache and it made it worse. Just stick with till the end and this will fall into place. Strong performances just rescued the crazy plot

SHARMAN JOSHI stands out in @kaashi...from his STYLE days he has been a versatile actor yet an understated one.....this movie shows just another dimension of the superb actor..he makes you part of his sadness and angst against the world while searching for his sister. A person with anger management issues finds love only to loose his sister and amazing background. HE reminds us how brilliantly he can convey any emotion. Movie makes a good suspense thriller "rare breed".if you like the twisted tale of love,betrayal & search for truth.
