फ़ीचर्ड समीक्षाएं
I was not sure about this series at first. There were some things I liked and some things I did not. There were times when I did not know where the story was going. After watching this episode, I am glad I stuck with it. Some big questions get answered. Jessica Beil gives a great performance. You cannot take your eyes off her. I look forward to watching the last episode.
In an otherwise captivating series, this episode was excruciatingly boring. Fast-forwarded through most of it.
This episode was one of the hardest things to watch. It unwound slowly, explaining what happened that night and giving a twist that was mind blowing. The clues that led to the explanation throughout the series were so subtle it was almost impossible to catch them. This episode alone makes me want to catch the second season.
The Sinner's first season is very good, but this episode is hard to swallow. A very ill 19 year old who has essentially has never left her house goes to a night club and an all night party and handles herself like it's second nature. Very little awkwardness, etc. The only very believable part about it is that she looks YOUNGER than 19...which makes sense considering her illness and her upbringing. Usually, films/TV shows depict teenagers looking OLDER than they are supposed to be.
This has been a great series so far but this episode was on another level entirely. I don't usually review, but I had to say something because if the filmmakers could have made every episode like this one, they might have just made the best show ever, reminded me of the best moments of Lost Season1, things like Requiem for a Dream, Fight Club maybe, but also had a rhythm to the entire thing like Thin Red Line, bloody, bloody brilliant...

Adult Phoebe (19): No, listen. You are waiting for him to ride up and choose you. That's not your game because you're a giant. You could, you could fuck up anybody you wanted. You could have anything you wanted. Do you even know that?
