Nailed It!

Nailed it! is one of my guilty pleasure shows. Watching amateur bakers tackle elaborate confections made by master pastry chefs is just so much fun. The confections that the amateurs are supposed to copy are elaborate and well designed, but the real selling point here is the glorious train wrecks that our contestants turn them into. The show does a great job at lingering on the stumbling without feeling as though it's being mean spirited. Thanks in no small part to Nicole Byer and Jacques Torres as well as their various guest hosts, the atmosphere the show creates is a friendly one where even if you mess up you can still win so long as you messed up slightly less than everyone else.

Nicole and Jacques are a well paired and hilarious duo. Omg I've been binge watching this and I'm in tears laughing at their interplay and reactions to the creations of the contestants on the show. A must watch especially if you like baking cook offs, comedy, French men...

Everyone has fun, including the bakers as they fail to make ridiculously difficult cakes and other baked goods. The hosts play well off each other despite different personalities.

It's fun and a little sloppy but that's what makes it so entertaining.

Idk why a lot of the comments complain about the host. She is the best part. Jacques is great too. So is Wes. Simple concept and fun.
