The Giant

I cannot even figure out what I just watched. Is everyone dead the whole movie? Is the main actress dead? Or does the main actress have some serious mental health issues that need addressed? I kept watching hoping I would figure out a plot. After so long, I felt vested and didn't want to turn it off, just in case. Just in case.... never happened. So many questions. I have googled the movie several different ways to try to find answers. It was bad enough that most of the movie is so dark you cannot watch it during the day without making your home a tomb. To sum up the movie "The Giant" it is a giant waste of time. Pick a different movie, any other movie.

Don't get it....Still waiting for it to start an hour in.

I'm still not sure what I just watched. Was the main girl dead? Was there a meteor storm at the end? Is there an audience for sad girl movies?

"The Giant" is a teen drama without the drama. It has zero plot whatsoever. Just a bunch of sad teens wandering around not doing much of anything. The ending, if you can call it that, makes zero sense. This steaming heap of crap is just a bunch of random ideas thrown together. The worst part is, you can tell the movie thinks it's a lot smarter than it actually is. The dialogue is lame and not believable coming out of what's supposed to be a high school senior's mouth. It's filled with lines that a 15-year-old would write in a story, read back to himself, and think, "Man that's so deep." Avoid this movie at all costs and save your hour and 40 minutes.

The main reason I watch this s Odessa. Well, some people maybe boring watch this kind of movie, but not me. I always intriqued with unique and 'different' camera's angle works. It's different from ussual thriller kind of movie. If you have spare time and want to wacth something unique, just give it a try. Did I mention Odessa Young?
